Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds is a real-time strategy game developed using the Age of Empires game engine. The player can play in six different campaigns, where they can control six different civilizations: the Empire, the Rebellion, the Royal Naboo, the Trade Federation, the Gungans, and the Wookiees. You play 2 Wookiee campaigns, 1 Gungan campaign, (plus a point in one scenario where you control Royal Naboo units) an Empire campaign, one for the Rebels, and one for the Trade Federation. They player can also create their own maps, games, campaigns, and some other game options. Gameplay includes gathering 4 different resources, (blue Carbon/red Food/green Nova/purple Ore) construct their own command centers, military buildings and units, and research technology. The game supports LAN line, dial-up, or wireless modem online gaming, with up to 8 people per match.
