Archives

These archives are from the old CI, what should we do with them. I'm thinking that we could just paste the text into forum threads so that they can be viewed by everyone. The problem is that we lose histories (though that's somewhat already lost from the archiving). -- Prod (Talk) 13:44, 10 May 2008 (CDT)

Can we have pages on cancelled games

Example is this one; lots of screenshots here right now.[1] Vikrant AP 15:44, 12 June 2008 (CDT)

Since it's playable, go for it. We already have Star Fox 2 and probably others. GarrettTalk 16:45, 12 June 2008 (CDT)
But there won't be any guide! The very purpose of thw wiki is missing. Vikrant AP 17:02, 12 June 2008 (CDT)
The game has been dumped, so it is playable (at least to some degree), just like Star Fox 2. Of course it's up to the reader to acquire the ROM. GarrettTalk 17:19, 12 June 2008 (CDT)

Indef blocks

Here most IP's are blocked indef for vandalism but never even warned to be constructive and stop damage. Why such stict blocks? Vikrant AP 06:58, 3 July 2008 (CDT)

Can you please heed the notice at the top of the page and stop creating topics here. We work on the forums now, and it's not guaranteed that anybody will check here for new discussions.
To answer your question, it's because those spammers/vandals were blatant and had nothing to contribute to the site. If their only edit is some massive defacement, it's our opinion that they won't contribute sensibly to the site even if asked politely, so asking them is a waste of time. If they repent and want to contribute sensibly, they can always contact a sysop to be unblocked. --DrBob (talk) 09:33, 3 July 2008 (CDT)
