Super High Impact marquee

Super High Impact is an American football arcade game that had been released by Midway Games in 1991; it runs on Midway's Y-Unit hardware, and, as the name suggests, it is the sequel to Williams Electronics's High Impact Football (which was released in the previous year). The fifteen teams from the original game all return (and Team Europa players have been redesigned, so that they no longer look like San Francisco ones!), but three new ones have also been introduced - and the cabinet also dispensed collectable trading cards (however, this feature obviously cannot be replicated in MAME).

Three different skill level options have also been introduced (for when one side of the cabinet is not in use), along with a "Hit-O-Meter" to measure the power of defensive stops, an "Instant Replay" similar to that of Atari's Food Fight (1982), a "Fighting Mode", and "World Record" standings; it also gave the players unique access codes for lifetime statistics and standings based on won and lost records (that would last until their local arcade operators cleared the statistics, or decided to get rid of the cabinet).
