Why is this page in the catagory 'pages needing subpaging'? It's a walkthrough! The Clarksville, Miniwahwah and Boom City pages were created by Bkell from Wikipedia, because they copied the dogs life info page onto Strategywiki before the page was deleted. I do intent to have a paragraph or two about each of the levels, though, on those pages, so they don't just say about the local dogs. I have already done about the Dog Pound and Finale. Is this the only Walkthrough that needs subpaging or is there more? As far as I know, a walkthrough tells you about the whole game, not just sertain parts of it. (although I haven't finished this page yet.)Melon247 13:29, 22 April 2008 (CDT)

: We don't like long pages on StrategyWiki. It would be better to split it into (for example): The Farmhouse, The Watermill, Big Field, etc. pages. --DrBob (talk) 13:41, 22 April 2008 (CDT)
As you can see, the walkthrough has now been split into seperate pages (by me) but there's still a pages needing subpaging thing on there. Does it still need subpaging, or did someone forget to take the template off (most proberably me.)Melon247 13:54, 9 July 2008 (CDT)
:Most of that information doesn't seem to relate to the main "storyline" of the game, so it should probably be on a another page.  Perhaps a characters page, a "version differences" page.  This page should essentially just be a starting of the guide. -- Prod (Talk) 21:02, 12 July 2008 (CDT)
I wrote in a bit about the main storyline, and I thought about doing a character page but I can't seem to find any pictures on google images of Wayne and Dwayne, Miss peaches, or the dog catcher. Also, I don't know much about different versions of the game, just that there's an English version, an American version which I have seen little bits of in a film on Youtube, and a Japanese version. Any other ideas on how to make the walkthrough more walkthroughey. I just made that word up. Melon247 13:41, 14 July 2008 (CDT)
:To get this page to the "suggested look" here are my suggested changes:
:*Move all the "interesting facts" somewhere else.
:*Move the section about the version differences to the front page
:*Add a picture

I've done what you suggested and I've deleted the interesting facts, because I didn't really know where to put them. I removed the template for subpages too. Melon247 03:23, 15 July 2008 (CDT)
:I rearranged the page a bit and got rid of some information that didn't seem necessary for a basic intro.  Hope it meets your approval. -- Prod (Talk) 21:57, 15 July 2008 (CDT)
It's fine, though I changed the first sentance because you don't actually tal to Jake, he just says hello and says how great it is being a dog.;) (that's my first smiley) Melon247 10:39, 16 July 2008 (CDT)
I have now added a map of Dog's Life too Melon247
:I would suggest splitting that map into 3 and putting each part on the specific page.  -- Prod (Talk) 01:32, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
I think I'm using PAINT now as much as Strategiwiki. -- Melon247 (Dog's Life's No. 1 fan) 04:56, 20 July 2008 (CDT)
Also, this bit on the talk page is getting really long. : )
I just found some pictures of Wayne, Dwayne and Miss Peaches. Do you think I should make a characters page after all? I was thinking that for the dog catcher I could just put a question mark, or does it have to be a picture of him? Melon247 (Dog's Life's No. 1 fan) 08:03, 29 July 2008 (CDT)
I added a red link to a characters page in the TOC replacing the Common Questions page which I marked for deletion. If I don't actually make a characters page, I'll delete the link. And one more thing; am i spelling characters right? --Melon247 (Dog's Life's No. 1 fan) 14:20, 29 July 2008 (CDT)
:Yes, "characters" is correct. For the characters page you don't HAVE to put images... although they are nice. -- 17:04, 3 August 2008 (CDT)
Should I put all the different local dogs and some info about them on ther characters page too? Come to think of it, this talk page doesn't seem to be much about the walkthrough any more.Melon247 (Dog's Life's No. 1 fan) 13:08, 6 August 2008 (CDT)
:Just add everything you think is useful.  If the dogs actually have names, then it's probably a good idea.  If there are any statistical data then that's even more important (I'm guessing there's nothing really). No worries. You could start a discussion on a different talk page, but it doesn't matter.  We've been discussing merging all the talk page of a guide so you just have one giant one and not a bunch of hidden/scattered ones.  -- 16:01, 6 August 2008 (CDT)
I'll add info on the local dogs. And also, what does statistical mean? Melon247 (Dog's Life's No. 1 fan) 04:58, 7 August 2008 (CDT)
:Statistical: of or pertaining to statistics (stats) - data that can be represented numerically. You might want to learn how to use google (type in "define:WHATEVER" for definitions) and http://dictionary.reference.com/. -- 05:18, 7 August 2008 (CDT)
