Heh, don't worry too much about overwriting my edits, cause I typically use regex's (that one took about 30 secs :P). That's actually why the (JP) ones at the bottom didn't get changed, they broke the mold. And I do agree, with the small amount of info put for each of the enemies, == seems a bit too big. No, that's OK. I didn't notice that stub was started by you. Pokemon Screenshots

How do you take screenshots of games on the gameboy? I want to use them on the guides but have no idea how to get them.

P.S I made edits to the second page but the server went down so I will redo them.

P.P.S I feel that the ToC for R/B/Y was better the way it was before. It makes it turn into a walkthrough rather than a list of stats that happen on that route, you could revisit a place and that may have to be a spoiler if it is early on in the game. Hello Procyon. From what I can tell the purpose of this site is the be the ultimate resource for video games and everything to do with them. We do not have the resources to actually complete this task, we cannot host mods to games, patches, fan art, and other such contributions. Instead we can make the ultimate guide for the game. We should not consider ourselves so great as to deny the advantages of other websites and people, we are not the "only place that you need to go to find out anything about a game." If we are trying to be akin to Wikipedia, it is not a one stop resource, rather it is the ultimate starting place. No academic would dare cite Wikipedia, statements on there cannot be guaranteed to be correct. It does provide an amazingly concise and elaborate description which lets users find search terms and links to bring them to resources whose authenticity can be ascertained. Therefore I see no reason why we should not include external links in our pages, if we want to help people the most we should not attempt to limit their resources, rather expand them to be as large as possible. I would like a rationale as to [i]why[/i] we should limit people when it is within our capacity to grant them the best possible resources. --Chrono Warrior 3 21:48, 9 February 2007 (CST)

Sorry, my only option is .BMP if I click save picture as, My workaround is to use Paint shop pro to copy and paste into then save as .PNG but that loses the transparancies.

in IE6 Pokémon Red and Blue/Route 3 doesn't render correctly, the map is right over the table and I have no idea how to fix it, please help

Image Upload page

The only thing I know about is MediaWiki:Uploadtext but I don't think it has what you are looking for. Judging by the way DrBob added those warnings for not adding a description, it should be do-able through js since the destination thing is <label for='wpDestFile'>Destination filename:</label>. -- Prod (Talk) 13:14, 27 February 2007 (CST)

Gyromite Game Maps

That game brings back lots of great memories. Back in the day the first Nintendo System I got was the Deluxe Set that came with Gyromite and Duck Hunt. I am currently working on making maps for F-Zero on the SNES, however I could take a break on that and do some for Gyromite. That is one of the games I have thought about mapping. I have just not gotten to it yet. Once I get some I will place a link to them on the Gyromite page you are working on. Standardization Policy

The policy you linked to needs to be updated (as do a lot of our "official" docs :-( ). As for spelling, it doesn't matter as long as the page is consistent, so if someone starts a page in American, you will unfortunately have to continue in American. What I was saying about the signature is that I've found out from Ryan Schmidt that I can use my rock as a link, here it is, half my user page, half my talk

The only problem is that the bar for Raw signatures won't let you press enter and you can't use (br) (triangular brackets, I know) so it comes as one line and won't work. Do you know any other way to miss a line?--Rocky (Talk Contributions ) 13:00, 6 March 2007 (CST)

The Tower of Druaga sprites

I didn't see anything using it, so I assumed you were subst'ing it. It seems a bit unnecessary, since it's just shortening out 5 words and some punctuation. Though, that gives me the idea that perhaps we can create a template for images in general. Something like [[Image:{{BASEPAGENAME}}_{{{filename}}}.{{{extension}}}|{{{description}}}]]. That way if someone wants to add an image, they would do something like {{Image|Name|png|blahblah}}. Of course, resizing, frame/thumb, and all those other fun things would get annoying to support, and may negate the benefit. -- Prod (Talk) 22:07, 8 March 2007 (CST)
