  • If your foe attacks you in melee combat, the dodging trick helps, especially against strong monsters. Take a step back and wait until the attack is finished. Right after that approach the enemy and perform a strike or several ones. Once your foe begins preparing another attack, take another step back, wait for the attack to be finished, approach your enemy and repeat this sequence until you defeat the monster. If you do it right way, your enemy won’t be able to hit you since its attack will always target an empty square.
  • Some enemies counterattack you right after being hit. It’s wise to use the dodging trick right after you hit the enemy.
  • Some enemies don’t attack you unless you look at them, though they may approach you. Don’t be afraid of being cornered most of the times and take out enemies one by one.
  • Waiting slowly regenerates your hit points and magic points. Waiting in a safe zone for a long time fully restores all your stats. Do so if you lack health points, mana points and potions at the same time.
  • Always check if you have sufficient amount of magic points to cast a spell.
  • If you perform physical activities like swinging your weapon and pushing blocks for a long time, your stats will be temporarily decreased. It’s not wise to engage in combat while being fatigued, so wait a bit to restore your stats before attacking.
  • During the game you will encounter rolling boulders. Face a boulder and push it repeatedly. After some time and maybe some damage dealt by the boulder you will see that it has rotated 90 degrees and now moves orthogonally (90 degrees) to previous trajectory. That’s a bug, most likely, but sometimes can be really useful to get a boulder out of your way with this trick.
  • Many plates are triggered by a weight of 100 kilograms or more, so make sure to have chests and bags of sufficient weight. If that weight is not enough, use the stone block spell (always comes in artifacts, can’t be cast for spell points). Don’t forget to pick up items from pressure plates – you’ll need them later. Stone blocks can’t be picked up – only pushed or destroyed, so leave them be.
  • Some traps are triggered by stepping on a plate. Stepping a few times on that plate triggers the trap that number of times. If you absolutely have to trigger the trap, place a few items on a pressure plate and walk safely on it. Trigger the trap not more than once.
