Area 1[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its original size yet again), a group of six Ika will come flying down towards you in a straight line while firing slow-moving projectiles at you on the left side of the screen; once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a second group of six Ika will come flying towards you in a straight line, while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you on the right side of the screen. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, two more groups of five Ika will come flying down towards you in a straight line on the left and right sides of the screen while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, two groups of three Teraji will come flying towards you from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you've fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, three groups of three Perikan will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen; once they have seen you, they'll retreat off the top of the screen and fire some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, switch to the yellow firing pattern, as two groups of five Choucho come flying down towards you from the top of the screen to close in on the Star Fighter once they've reached its level while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at it - and once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, switch back to the red firing pattern, as two Spy Ships from the original Bosconian arcade game come flying down on the left and right sides of the screen. The one on the left side of the screen will fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the bottom, while the one on the right side of the screen will fly to the left once it has reached the bottom, then fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side; if you fail to fire enough red shots at either of these to kill them, before they do so, up to two Cosmo-Mines will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position, then explode into eight pieces of shrapnel that must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive. Two groups of five Tonbo will now come flying down towards you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you on the left and right sides of the screen then retreat once they have seen you; once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them two groups of three Irises will come spinning towards you on the left side of the screen. Once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, two groups of three Tiara will come flying down towards you from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen and retreat once they have seen you, while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, a third Spy Ship will fly down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once it has reached the bottom and fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached that left side. As with the first two, if you fail to fire enough red shots at this to kill it, before it does so, a third Cosmo-Mine will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen, and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel, that must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; a third group of six Tiara will then come flying down towards you from the top-right corner of the screen and retreat once they have seen you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, a fourth group of six Tiara will come flying down towards you from that top-left corner of the screen, then retreat once they have seen you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, a group of six Kamo will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen and speed up once they have seen you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, a second group of six Kamo will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen and speed up once they have seen you; once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them a fourth Spy Ship from will come flying down on the right side of the screen, fly to the left once it has reached the bottom, and fly back away off the top of the screen once it reaches that left side. As with the other three, if you fail to fire enough red shots at it to kill it before it does so, a fourth Cosmo-Mine will fly down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive - and two more groups of five Teraji will then come flying down towards you (while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you), from the top-left and top-right corners of the screen. Once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, a fifth group of six Teraji will fly down towards you, from the top of the screen while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you fire a red shot at all of these to kill them, a group of six Kagerou will come flying down towards you from the top-right corner of the screen, then retreat once they have seen you while firing off some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of them to kill them, three more Spy Ships will come flying down on the left side, in the centre of, and on the right side of the screen; the ones on the left side (and in the centre of) the screen will fly back up off the top of the screen once they have reached the bottom, while the one on the right side will fly to the left once it has reached the bottom and fly back up off the top of the screen once it has reached the left side. As with the other four, if you fail to fire enough red shots at any of these, to kill them (before they do so), up to three more Cosmo-Mines will fly down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen and explode into eight more pieces of shrapnel which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive - and you then have to switch back to the yellow firing pattern again, as a third group of five Choucho comes flying down towards you on the left side of the screen and closes in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level, while firing more slow-moving projectiles at it. Once you fire a yellow shot at each of them to kill them a fourth group of four Choucho will come flying down towards you on the right side of the screen and close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at it; once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, a fifth group of five Choucho will come flying down towards you in the centre of the screen, then close in on the Star Fighter once they have reached its level, while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at it. Once you have fired a yellow shot at each of them to kill them, you will have to switch back to the red firing pattern for a second time as two more groups of six Teraji fly down towards you from the top of the screen while firing off some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of these, to kill them, two more Spy Ships will come flying down in the centre of the screen and fly back up off the top of the screen once they have reached the bottom. As with the other seven, if you can't fire enough red shots at either of these to kill them before they do so, up to two more Cosmo-Mines will come flying down over the Star Fighter's current position on the screen, then explode into eight pieces of shrapnel, which must be destroyed if you wish to stay alive; a fourth group of seven Perikan will then come flying down towards you on the left side of the screen and retreat once they have seen you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you. Once you fire off a red shot at each of these to kill them, the background will start to scroll downwards toward the world's space base as a fifth group of seven Perikan comes flying down towards you on the right side of the screen and retreats once it has seen you while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a red shot at each of these, to kill them, a third group of seven Irises will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen. Once you fire off a red shot at each of them to kill them, two more Perikan will come flying down towards you on the right side of the screen; once you've fired a red shot at each of them to kill them two more groups of three Tonbo will come flying down towards you on the left and right sides of the screen while firing some more slow-moving projectiles at you, and retreat once they have seen you. Once you have fired a red shot at each of these to kill them, the Star Fighter will proceed to this world's second area - and this base looks like a giant red Bosconian base with a blue tower in its centre.

Area 2[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen, switch to the green firing pattern as twenty Green E-Type Missiles come flying down towards you from the top of the screen; like your second encounter with them in the previous world, they will split into three Green E-Type Missiles once they have seen you, which will once again give you forty more Green E-Type Missiles to deal with. Once you have fired a green shot at each of these to kill them, switch back to that red firing pattern, as you come to a formation of two Beam Launchers, two No Launchers, two Blue Missile Launchers, and one Red Missile Launcher which are guarding the entrance to the world's space base - and once again you will not only have another chance to destroy the "No", that the No Launchers will be firing at you (for 100 extra points apiece), but you will also have another chance to destroy the "Missiles" that the Missile Launchers will be firing at you for 50 extra points apiece as well. However, it is yet again advisable to keep moving around the screen in order to avoid being overwhelmed by them, along with the double-bullets that the Beam Launchers will be firing at you; once you have fired enough red shots at the two Beam Launchers, the two No Launchers, the two Blue Missile Launchers and the singular Red Missile Launcher to kill them the Star Fighter will proceed to the world's third and final area, and undergo a fourth significant increase in size as it does so. The next area also represents the base tower.

Area 3[edit]

Once the Star Fighter has reappeared at the bottom of the screen (at its larger size yet again), you will come to a White Beam Gun which is firing some fast-moving lasers at you from its position on the left side of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at its head to kill it, make sure you move all the way to the right side of the screen as you are passing its extendable arm so that you do not fly into it. You will then come to another White Beam Gun which is firing some more fast-moving lasers at you from its position on that right side of the screen - and once you have fired enough red shots at its head to kill it, make sure you move all the way to that left side of the screen, as you are passing its extendable arm, so that you do not fly into it. You will now come to a White Missile Launcher which is firing some missiles that can be destroyed for extra points at you from its position on the left side of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at its head to kill it make sure you move all the way to the right side of the screen as you are passing its extendable arm so that you don't fly into it. You will then come to a second White Missile Launcher which is firing some more missiles at you from its position on the right side of the screen - and once you've fired enough red shots at its head, to kill it, make sure you move all the way to that left side of the screen as you are passing its extendable arm so that you do not fly into it. You will then come to two more White Missile Launchers which are firing some more missiles at you from their positions on the left and right sides of the screen; once you have fired enough red shots at both of their heads, to kill them, make sure you stay in the centre of the screen as you're passing their extendable arms so that you do not fly into them. You'll then come to a third White Beam Gun, that is firing some more fast-moving lasers at you from its position on the right side of the screen - and once you have fired out enough red shots at its head to kill it, make sure you move all the way to the left side of the screen as you're passing its extendable arm so that you do not fly into it. You'll then have to switch to the yellow firing pattern as you come to a Blue Beam Gun which is firing some double-bullets at you from its position on the right side of the screen; once you have fired off enough yellow shots at it to kill it, switch back to the red firing pattern as you come to a fourth White Beam Gun that is firing some more fast-moving lasers at you from its position on the left side of the screen. Once you fire out enough red shots at its head to kill it, make sure you move all the way to the right screen side as you pass its extendable arm, so that you don't fly into it - and you will now come to a fifth White Missile Launcher, which is firing some more missiles at you from its position on the right side of the screen. Once you've fired enough red shots at its head to kill it, make sure you move all the way to the left side of the screen as you are passing its extendable arm so that you do not fly into it; you will then have to switch back to the yellow firing pattern again as you come to a second Blue Beam Gun which is firing some more double-bullets at you from its position on that right side of the screen. Once you've fired enough yellow shots at it to kill it, switch back to the red firing pattern again, as you come to a sixth White Missile Launcher which is firing more missiles at you from its position on the left side of the screen - and once you have fired off enough red shots at its head to kill it make sure you move all the way to the right side of the screen as you are passing its extendable arm, so that you do not fly into it. You will then come to four more Blue Beam Guns, which are firing some more double-bullets at you from their positions on the left and right screen sides; once you fire enough red shots at each of them to kill them, you'll come to two more Blue Beam Guns which are firing double-bullets at you from their positions on the right screen side. Once you fire enough red shots at both of them, to kill them, you will come to two more Blue Beam Guns, which are firing some more double-bullets at you from their positions on the left side of the screen - and once you fire off enough red shots at both of these to kill them, the "boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fourth time as the world's boss character comes down from the top of the screen, and its two protective cannons emerge from the nearby trapdoors on the left and right sides of the screen. The boss will then start moving to the left (and to the right once it has reached the left side of the screen) while it fires out three white balls diagonally (and directly) ahead of itself at you, and its protective cannons fire even more slow-moving projectiles at you; once you've fired enough red shots at both of the protective cannons to kill them the boss will stop firing for a few seconds. As with the bosses of the three previous worlds, this will give you a chance to destroy the three shielding devices circling around it before it starts firing again - and once you fire enough red shots at the boss itself to kill it (yet again, it changes its colour from blue to yellow to red when hit), any of its balls that are currently on screen will explode and the Star Fighter will escape from the base just before it blows up, and travel on to the next world. You will then receive a 20000-point bonus for destroying the world's space base; the Star Fighter will also get returned to its original size just before the next time it is due to reappear at the bottom of the screen.
