Midway Baseball is, as the name implies, a series of four early baseball arcade games that were released by Midway Games between 1976 and 1980; the first three titles, Tornado Baseball, Double Play and Extra Inning, all ran on Midway's 8080 hardware while the fourth and final one, Extra Bases, ran on their Astrocade hardware. All four games are fundamentally the same, but with a few minor differences between them - the most noticeable being that Extra Bases was in colour as opposed to monochrome, came in a cocktail cabinet as opposed to an upright and would flip its screen to face the pitching player every time three outs occurred. They are also some of the first baseball games to feature a lot of "stick-figure" players on the field simultaneously.
