  • You play as Cardia, who must make choices that increase the other characters' affection for her as well as advance the story toward three potential endings: bad, normal, and good.
  • Affection determines which route the story will take following the common route. How to get to each character's route, as well as their good end, is specified on each character's page. Accessible characters are:
    • Abraham Van Helsing: A skilled vampire hunter with a grudge. Of the group, he's the most suited for combat.
    • Victor Frankenstein: A humble yet highly intelligent researcher. He's very sociable, but also a bit private.
    • Impey Barbicane: A friendly engineer, Impey has an infectious energy and a questionable dream.
    • Count Saint-Germain: A mysterious landowner and the source of the group's money. While he appears friendly, his intentions are unclear.
    • Arsène Lupin: A chivalrous thief and the first to come to Cardia's aid. His heists have earned him infamy all across London, and it's only a matter of time until Cardia is drawn into his world. His good end is considered the game's "true" route, and must be unlocked.
  • The Memory Trunk, accessible on the main menu, allows you to view CGs and movies seen in previous playthroughs. This is also where you can view bonus scenes unlocked after clearing certain endings.
