Inside the levels you can find the following items:
Orange Pumpkin: Collect 100 to get an extra life
Golden Pumpkin: Restores Jersey Devil's vital energy by 50%
Tail: Worth an extra life
Purple Rose: Will make Jersey Devil go crazy and spin like a tornado for a few seconds
Letters K-N-A-R-F: Collect all five to get a Golden K. Once collected, they are shown at the bottom of the screen.
Golden K: You need it to open certain doors. You get it by finding all the letters. Each Golden K can only be used once.
Nitro Vial: Obtained after destroying all nitro boxes in a level. After defeating the boss you can destroy the lab and increase your power level.
Giant K Tokens: You get them by completing a level. There are ten in all and you will need to get them all in order to access the final battle.
Note: once obtained, the Giant K Tokens are shown at the entrance to the relevant level, in downtown, and their color indicates what you have obtained within the level, in particular:
Red: You haven't destroyed all the nitro boxes and there are still hostages to rescue
Blue: You have destroyed all the nitro boxes, but there are still hostages to be rescued
Purple: You saved all the hostages, but you didn't destroy all the nitro boxes
Golden: You have destroyed all the nitro boxes and saved all the hostages
Boxes[edit]
Inside the levels you will find many boxes, which you can destroy by jumping on them, thus discovering their contents. However, you can also grab these boxes by pressing 
and then throw them by pressing 
, to attack enemies. There are the following types of boxes:
Normal boxes: their contents are unknown (usually contain one or more pumpkins).
Nitro boxes: by destroying all the nitro boxes within a level, you will get a power increase, which will allow you to access the bonus levels.
TNT boxes: these boxes are explosive. If you jump on them, they will explode and hurt you. However, you can grab them and throw them, to attack enemies or to destroy certain elements. The only way to get on them unscathed is to glide.
Check Boxes: When you lose a life, you will restart the game from the last check box you destroyed.
In some levels there are large boxes that you can destroy only by hitting them with a fist or tail.
