Controls[edit]

  • Joystick: Use the 8-way joystick to move Kuri Kinton; pushing it up will make him perform a short jump, while pushing it into the "north-western" and "north-eastern" positions will make him perform a short jump to the left and right respectively, pushing it to the left or right twice in succession rapidly will make him switch his pace from a walk to a dash (much like Prince Clovis in Namco's Dragon Buster), and pushing it down will make him crouch. Furthermore, returning it to the "neutral" position and waiting causes an Aura to appear around him (which increases his attack and defence power).
  • Attack Button: Use this button to make Kuri Kinton punch, and kick if he's either crouching or in mid-air; holding it down shall charge his power and grant him a special "Wave" fighting technique (indicated by three hands in "Rock", "Scissors", and "Paper" poses that appear on flashing red, yellow and blue backgrounds in the box to the right of his energy bar in the screen's top-left corner, followed by a flashing lightning bolt and text "FASHU").
  • Jump Button: Use this button to make Kuri Kinton perform a bigger jump than he does when you push the joystick up; it can be used in conjunction with pushing the joystick to the left or right while simultaneously also pressing the Attack Button to make him perform a flying kick in either direction.
  • 1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin a 1 or 2 player game.

Kuri Kinton[edit]

This Chinese World Secret Police Organization agent is the eponymous protagonist of the game; as mentioned on the main page he has been sent on a mission to rescue one of the organization's fellow agents and his daughter, for they are being held captive by the leaders of an upcoming coup. As well as having the ability to defeat those who oppose him by punching and kicking them, he can also charge his power to be granted a special "Wave" fighting technique - and by standing still and waiting, he can cause a power-increasing Aura to appear around him, whose colour changes based on how long he waited before moving: Red (which will increase his attack power by 1.25, along with his defence power for one hit), Yellow (which will increase his attack power by 1.5, and change his defence power to red after one hit), and Blue (which will increase his attack power by 1.75, and change his defence power to yellow after one hit). At the end of each stage, he must fight one of the coup's leaders as a boss; this will yield a score bonus, along with additional energy to help him in getting through the next stage, if he succeeds in defeating the leader.
