Magical Starsign, known in Japan as Magical Vacation: When the Five Planets Align (マジカルバケーション 5つの星がならぶとき Majikaru Bakēshon Itsutsu no Hoshi ga Narabu Toki?), is a role-playing video game developed by Brownie Brown and published by Nintendo in 2006, released for the Nintendo DS handheld console. It is the second and final video game in the Magical Vacation series, following Magical Vacation for the Game Boy Advance. Unlike its predecessor, which did not leave Japan, Magical Starsign was localized in the United States and Europe.

Story[edit | edit source]
The game takes place several hundreds of years after the events of Magical Vacation. It follows a group of six classmates who attend Will-o'-Wisp Academy, a school of magic on the distant planet Kovomaka. One day, their teacher Miss Madeleine is told that Kale, a former student, has been causing trouble across the Baklava solar system. Madeleine takes off for space at Principal Biscotti's behest, but goes missing three months later. As the students hijack a secret stash of rockets, they are scattered throughout the planets of Baklava, putting themselves at odds against Kale's pirates and the dubious Space Police.
