Area 1 (US: Round 42)[edit]

MJ12 World 5-1.png

This area contains only eighteen Large Invaders, eighteen Medium Invaders and nine Small Invaders in a horizontally-moving formation; but this time, when some of them are hit, they will "stretch" out and take 2-3 more hits to kill (for two or three times more than their original point values). They are also (again) the original invaders - but, the song you will be hearing from that Yamaha YM-2610 during this world is another new composition (not the remixed original theme).

Area 2 (US: Round 43)[edit]

MJ12 World 5-2.png

This area contains eighteen Medium Invaders and fourteen Small Invaders, in a circling formation (taking on the role of Circling Invaders); the formation was initially employed by the Flector in the first stage of Return of the Invaders (1985).

Area 3 (US: Round 44)[edit]

MJ12 World 5-3.png

This area's containing twenty-four Small Invaders, thirty Medium Invaders and fourteen Small Invaders in two separate horizontally-moving formations; once you have cleared it, the "final boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2610. There are also a total of sixty-eight invaders in this area, which tops the sixty upon the first area of World 3C.

Area 4 (US: Round 45)[edit]

As the final Boss Invader comes down into view from the top of the screen, it will punch down at the two CG30s with its arms; it will then start firing lasers down at them from them while occasionally opening its mouth and firing laser beams down at them. You can destroy the arms by shooting them thirty times each (but they are not worth any points), so you should focus on the body - and once you have shot it sixty times, it will explode and fall off the bottom of the screen, as the player who registered that killer shot receives 100000 points. The screen will then fade out to a shot of Neptune, as the game's ending theme begins to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2610, and the following text appears on the screen:

EVERYTHING ENDED!!

After the credits have finished, the game will go into high-score mode as the high-score theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2610 and various invaders begin dancing across the bottom of the screen; your scores will most likely be the highest ones on the cabinet to date, so you should enter your initials at the top of the table with pride regardless of which way around they are positioned. Once you have done so, the text "GAME OVER" will appear on the screen and the game will go back into attract mode (in the Japanese version, its "legal notice" is screened at the start of each attract mode cycle).
