King of the Hill requires you to have your Multiwinians at specific points of the map, and to hold them throughout the game. These points are either strategic locations, or points of religious worship of their lord, Dr. Sepulveda.

Map Specific Strategies[edit]

The Eternal Guardians[edit]

Two players compete to control the points within a 5 minute period. Each player has easy access to three spawn points, which they should claim immediatly.

The two control points in the corner are secure and generally would only receive flanking attacks.

The Bitter Front[edit]

Two players fight over four control points. One point is in each of the four capturable spawn point pairs, and the last is located in the large plain in the middle of the map.

Field of Unending Dawn[edit]

Three players fight over a set of four control points, and there is one spawn point between each player.

Pursuit of Victory[edit]

Three players contest a large island, surrounded by six smaller islands. Control points are located in the center, and in the small islands to the side.

Your initial attack should be towards a side island, because traveling to the center is a one-way trip.

To claim a side island, send a medium sized force to ensure that it is properly defended. Capture the radar dish and have it point towards your base to prevent it from being captured easily.

The Deceitful Vale[edit]

There are three players in this map, and there are four points of interest. The three starting player location are a control point in themselves, and the central trunk port has two concentric control points. In addition, there are three additional spawn points in the corner of the map.

The Walled Garden[edit]

There is one control point in the map, which is guarded by two turrets on each of the three major approach paths. These turrets are only effective in firing outward, but can still be aimed towards those on the control point. As such, there will be an initial race to see who can get to the control point first.

Unlike the other maps, there are no spawn points. Instead, each of the three players receives 200 Darwinians every 60 seconds.

Barbs of Madness[edit]

In this four player map, there is a large control point in the center, with plenty of sub-control points scattered through the area.

There are only five minutes in this map; therefore, a rush to some of the concentric control points is the most valuable tactic.

The Holy Tree[edit]

In this four player map, there are five sets of control points. Two are in each of the four corners, and three are in the middle.

Quickly capture a spawn point in the corner with a medium sized force. If an enemy is also trying to grab the spawn point or control point, make sure you are ready for combat in that region.

Don't neglect the middle spawn points, as they allow a close area for you to claim the holy tree as your own. From time to time, it may catch fire during combat and burn down.

A Monument to the Heavens[edit]

In this four player map, there are two large islands and two smaller islands. Two players are places on both of the large islands.

Both the small islands have two control points each. As such, you will want to make sure they are secure to prevent the enemy from taking them. Once the radar dish connects, send a force through to quickly capture the spawn points. It will be difficult to repel the enemy if they land on the island as well, but you should be able to prevent then from advancing.

The large islands, however, can give more points per second if they are controlled. However, the capture point is harder to defend as the enemy has a wider path of attack.
