Regardless of which level you decide to take the challenge of when playing in this mode, all three of their timers shall always begin at 80 seconds (1:20).

Level 1: Cliff Rock[edit]

After the Starter has flown away and the camera has panned around to behind the Raperopter, the numbers 3, 2 and 1 shall be displayed on the screen, followed by the text GO; once you have started pedalling the exercycle, the text "NOVICE" will appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen, but you will have to turn to the left and dive (as you are doing so, the text "WRONG WAY" will flash at the top of the screen as a left- or right-pointing red arrow on a white background flashes on its left or right side, and a notice saying "FOLLOW THE ARROWS." appears at its bottom, but you should just ignore them) as you come to a flashing balloon with + 20 sec on it. Once you have burst this balloon for a maximum of twenty additional seconds (as the timer cannot go higher than 89), you'll have to turn back to the right and climb (once you have passed that starting point, the text "REC" shall flash in the bottom-right corner of the screen), then turn to the left and dive as you come to a group of five more (non-flashing) balloons (all with 50 on them) - and after you have burst all five of these balloons for a total of 250 points, you shall have to turn to the right as you come to a group of four more non-flashing balloons (one with 200 on it, one with 50 on it, and two with 100 on them). Once you've burst all four of these balloons for a total of 450 more points, you'll have to dive and turn to the left, as you come to a group of three more non-flashing balloons (two with 100 on them and one with 50 on it); once you've burst all three of these balloons for a total of 250 more points, you will have to climb and turn to the right as you come up to a group of four more non-flashing balloons (three with 200 on them, and one with 100 on it). Once you have burst the first three of these balloons for a total of 600 more points, an animation of the Start Button being pushed with a red downward-pointing arrow above it and the text "MAP" to its right will appear on the left side of the screen (meaning that if you push the Start Button at this point, an overhead map showing the locations of the remaining balloons will be displayed on the screen) and the text "PERFECT! 9 BALLOONS REMAIN" (this number will also decrease by one every time you burst another non-flashing balloon) appears on its right side - and you shall then have to burst the fourth balloon in the current group for 100 more points. You will then have to dive and turn to the right as you come to a group of three more balloons (one of which is flashing, and has + 10 sec on it, while the other two are non-flashing and have 100 and 200 on them respectively); once you have burst all three of these balloons for ten additional seconds and a total of 300 more points, you will have to turn to the right and dive as you come to a group of three more non-flashing balloons (two with 100 on them and one with 200 on it). Once you've burst all three of these balloons for a total of 400 more points, you'll have to turn left and dive as you come to a group of two more balloons (one of which is flashing and has + 10 sec on it, whilst the other is non-flashing, and has 300 on it) - and once you've burst both of these balloons for ten additional seconds and 300 more points you will have to turn to the left and climb as you pedal the Raperopter into a mountainside cave, then turn to the right and turn to the left as you come to a twenty-sixth (flashing) balloon with + 10 sec on it. Once you have burst this balloon for ten additional seconds you will have to turn to the left and climb, then turn to the right and dive, and turn to the left as you come to a twenty-seventh (flashing) balloon, with + 10 sec on it; once you burst this balloon for ten additional seconds, you will have to turn to the left as you pedal the Raperopter out of that mountainside cave's exit, then turn to the right and dive, as you pedal it under an outdoor market's covering and come to a twenty-eighth (non-flashing) balloon with 200 on it. Once you've burst this balloon for 200 more points, you will have to turn to the left and climb as you come to a twenty-ninth and final (non-flashing) balloon with 200 on it - and once you have burst this balloon for 200 more points, the text "PERFECT!" will appear on the screen to show you got them all as it fades to white.

The level's results screen shall then appear as a left-pointing arrow and your score (which will be 3050 points) fly into view from its top-right corner, and the route you took through the course will be shown on the overhead map of it at its left side as your points are tabulated; the ranking arrow on the right side of the screen will then raise itself from "Adventurer in the Making" up to "Young Hatchling", "Early Bird" and "Wing Leader" in turn. The left-pointing arrow and score will then disappear off the top-right corner of the screen as a right-pointing arrow and the timer fly into view from its top-left corner, and you receive a bonus of 5 points for each tenth of a second you have remaining (although the game allows scores ending in "5" at this point it only gives the illusion of allowing ones ending in other numbers that aren't "0") - and that ranking arrow will now raise itself to "Perfect Ace" and "The Art of Flying" in turn. The right-pointing arrow and timer shall now disappear off the screen's top-left corner as a downward-pointing arrow with the text of "PERFECT POINTS 1000" on it folds down into view from its top, and you receive a bonus of 1000 points; once the arrow folds back up off the top of the screen, a gold plaque with the text "The Art of Flying", an animated crown with wings and a turning pedal and the text "FASTEST PERFECT SCORE" on it will fly down onto the overhead map if your perfect score was the fastest on the cabinet to date. The screen shall then fade to white, as the game goes into high-score mode - and your final score will most likely be the highest on the cabinet to date, so you will have 28 seconds to enter your initials at the top of this level's high score table with pride, by using the handlebars to select the letters, numbers, symbols (one of which is Namco's signature character, Pac-Man) and punctuation marks, then pushing the Start Button to confirm them. Once you have done so, the text "GAME OVER" shall appear on the screen and the game shall go back into attract mode; the next time you select this mode, you can take the challenge of its second level, Wind Woods.

Level 2: Wind Woods[edit]

Once you have burst all of these balloons for a total of 300 points, you'll have to turn to the right as you pedal the Raperopter into a mountainside cave (a flashing notice saying "FLY CAREFULLY THROUGH NARROW PATHS." will appear at the screen's bottom at this point) and you come up to a group of two more non-flashing balloons (one of which has 50 on it while the other has 100 on it) - and once you have burst both of these balloons for a total of 150 more points, you will have to turn to the right and dive as you come to a group of two more balloons (one of which is flashing and has + 10 sec on it, while the other is non-flashing and has 100 on it). Once you've burst both of these balloons for ten additional seconds and 100 more points, you shall have to climb as you come to an eighth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 200 on it); after you have burst this balloon for 200 more points, you shall have to turn to the left and dive as you come to a ninth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it). Once you've burst this balloon for 100 more points, you shall have to turn to the left as you come to a group of three more non-flashing balloons (all of which have 50 on them) - and after you have burst all three of these balloons for a total of 150 more points you shall have to dive as you come to a thirteenth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it). Once you have burst this balloon for 100 more points you'll have to turn to the left, climb and dive as you come to a fourteenth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it); once you have burst this balloon for 100 more points you will have to turn to the right and climb as you come to a group of three more balloons (one of which is flashing and has + 10 sec on it, while the other two are non-flashing and have 200 and 300 on them respectively). Once you've burst all of these balloons for ten additional seconds and a total of 500 more points, you will have to turn to the left as you come up to a group of three more non-flashing balloons (two of which have 100 on them while the other one has 300 on it) - and after you burst all three of these balloons for a total of 500 more points an animation of the Start Button being pressed with a red downward-pointing arrow above it, and the text "MAP" to its right, shall appear on the screen's left side (which means that if you press the Start Button at this point, an overhead map showing the locations of the remaining balloons will be displayed on the screen) and the text "PERFECT! 9 BALLOONS REMAIN" (this number will also decrease by one every time you burst another non-flashing balloon) appears on its right side. You shall then have to climb as you pedal the Raperopter out of the mountainside cave's exit, and turn to the right as you come to a group of three more (non-flashing) balloons (which have 50, 100 and 300 on them respectively); once you've burst all three of these balloons for a total of 450 more points you will have to turn to the left and dive as you pedal the Raperopter under a metal railway bridge and a wooden plank bridge, and come to a group of three more non-flashing balloons (two of which have 300 on them but the other one has 100 on it). Once you have burst all of these balloons for a total of 700 more points, you will have to turn to the right and dive, as you pedal the Raperopter under another wooden plank bridge and through a waterfall into a second mountainside cave, then come up to a twenty-seventh (flashing) balloon - and once you have burst this balloon for ten additional seconds, you'll have to turn to the left as you pedal the Raperopter through a second waterfall and out of the second mountainside cave's exit, then turn to the right and dive as you pedal the Raperopter under a third wooden plank bridge and come to a twenty-eighth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it). Once you've burst this balloon for 100 more points you shall have to climb and turn to the left as you come to two last non-flashing balloons (both of which have 100 on them); once you have burst both of these balloons for a total of 200 more points the text "PERFECT!" shall appear on the screen to show you got them all as it fades to white (also, if you hit anything solid, a flashing notice saying "PEDAL SLOWER" appears at the screen's bottom).

The level's results screen shall then appear as a left-pointing arrow and your score (which will be 3650 points) fly into view from its top-right corner, and the route you took through the course will be shown on the overhead map of it at its left side as your points are tabulated; the ranking arrow on the right side of the screen will then raise itself from "Adventurer in the Making" up to "Young Hatchling", "Early Bird" and "Wing Leader" in turn. The left-pointing arrow and score will then disappear off the top-right corner of the screen as a right-pointing arrow and the timer fly into view from its top-left corner, and you receive a bonus of 5 points for each tenth of a second you have remaining (although the game allows scores ending in "5" at this point it only gives the illusion of allowing ones ending in other numbers that aren't "0") - and that ranking arrow will now raise itself to "Perfect Ace" and "The Art of Flying" in turn. The right-pointing arrow and timer shall now disappear off the screen's top-left corner as a downward-pointing arrow with the text of "PERFECT POINTS 1000" on it folds down into view from its top, and you receive a bonus of 1000 points; once the arrow folds back up off the top of the screen, a gold plaque with the text "The Art of Flying", an animated crown with wings and a turning pedal and the text "FASTEST PERFECT SCORE" on it will fly down onto the overhead map if your perfect score was the fastest on the cabinet to date. The screen shall then fade to white, as the game goes into high-score mode - and your final score will most likely be the highest on the cabinet to date, so you will have 28 seconds to enter your initials at the top of this level's high score table with pride by using the handlebars to select the letters, numbers, symbols and punctuation marks, then pushing the Start Button to confirm them. Once you have done so, the text "GAME OVER" shall appear on the screen and the game shall go back into attract mode; the next time you select this mode, you can try its third (and final) level, Industarn (whose difficulty is indicated by a Point Blank-style "VERY HARD" icon).

Level 3: Industarn[edit]

After you have burst both of these balloons for a total of 200 points, you will have to turn to the right and dive as you come to a group of two more non-flashing balloons (both of which have 100 on them) - and once you have burst both of these balloons for a total of 200 more points you will have to turn to the right as you come to a group of two more non-flashing balloons (both of which have 100 on them). After you have burst both of these balloons for a total of 200 more points, you will come to a group of two more balloons (one of which is non-flashing and has 100 on it while the other one is flashing and has + 10 sec on it); after you have burst both of these balloons for 100 more points and ten additional seconds you shall have to turn to the left and dive as you pedal the Raperopter into a mountainside cave, then turn to the right as you pedal it out of said cave's exit and come to a group of two more non-flashing balloons (which have 200 and 100 on them respectively). Once you've burst both of these balloons for a total of 300 more points, you shall have to turn to the left as you come up to a group of three more balloons (two of which are non-flashing and have 200 and 100 on them respectively while the remaining one is flashing and has + 10 sec on it) - and once you have burst all three of these balloons for a total of 300 more points and ten additional seconds, you shall have to dive as you pedal the Raperopter into another mountainside cave, then turn to the left and climb as you pedal it out of said cave's exit and come to a fourteenth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it). Once you have burst this balloon, for 100 more points, you shall have to turn to the right and climb as you come to a fifteenth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it); once you have burst this balloon for 100 more points you shall have to turn to the left as you pedal the Raperopter into a third mountainside cave, turn to the right and dive and turn to the left and climb as you come to a sixteenth (flashing) balloon (which has + 20 sec on it). Once you have burst this balloon for twenty additional seconds, you shall have to retrace your path back to the entrance of the cave then dive as you pedal the Raperopter into a dam, turn to the left and climb, and turn to the right as you come to a seventeenth (flashing) balloon (which has + 20 sec on it) - and once you've burst this balloon for twenty additional seconds, you'll have to turn to the left and climb as you pedal the Raperopter out of the dam's exit (which is indicated by a sign displaying the number 4 over it), then turn to the right and dive as you come to an eighteenth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 200 on it). Once you've burst this balloon, for 200 more points, an animation of the Start Button being pressed with a red downward-pointing arrow above it and the text "MAP" to its right shall appear on the left side of the screen (meaning that if you press the Start Button at this point an overhead map showing the locations of the remaining balloons will be displayed on the screen) and the text "PERFECT! 9 BALLOONS REMAIN" (the number will also decrease by one each time you burst another non-flashing balloon) appears on its right side; you will now have to turn to the right and dive, as you pedal the Raperopter under a railway viaduct, and come to a nineteenth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 300 on it). Once you have burst this balloon for 300 more points you will have to turn to the left as you come to a twentieth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it) - and after you have burst this balloon for 100 more points you will have to turn to the right and dive as you come to a group of two more non-flashing balloons (which both have 100 on them). Once you have burst both of these balloons, for a total of 200 more points, you will have to turn to the right and dive as you come to a twenty-third (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it); after you have burst this balloon for 100 more points you shall have to pedal the Raperopter under another railway viaduct as you come to a twenty-fourth (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it). After you have burst this balloon for 100 more points you have to turn to the left and climb as you pedal the Raperopter into a fourth mountainside cave, then dive and turn to the right, and turn to the left and climb as you approach a twenty-fifth (flashing) balloon (which has + 20 sec on it) - and after you have burst this final flashing balloon for twenty additional seconds, you have to retrace your path back to the entrance of the cave, then turn to the left and dive as you pass under a metal railway bridge, and turn to the right and dive as you come to a group of two more (non-flashing) balloons (which have 300 and 100 on them respectively). Once you've burst both of these balloons for a total of 400 more points, you have to turn to the left as you pedal the Raperopter under a brick railway bridge and approach a twenty-eighth and final (non-flashing) balloon (which has 100 on it); once you've burst this balloon for 100 more points, the text "PERFECT!" will appear on the screen to indicate you have managed to burst all the balloons on the course, as it fades to white.
