List of location, clockwise from the south:
- The eight-way intersection: game start.
- The bridge troll (S): his greed is insatiable; he will steal an item if you force your way south. Better to put down something before you pass, then.
- The ferry (SW): Gorn states clearly that you need to find a rope. You also need a way to send the rope to the other side.
- Kein river canyon (W): three items can be found here. Two of them can reach a certain distance, the last one can be used to capture animals.
- The manticora (NW): the text notes the animal bones scattered around (press Ctrl+F and look for other instances of "animal" in this page).
- The fire chasm (N): this area can be accessed only later in the game.
Na-kworbok forest[edit]
- The green force (N): impassable. Talk to the seer for information.
- The seer hut (NE): he has the same function as the hermit in The Quest.
- The geyser (E-NE): this animated location deserves to be looked at!
- The white boulder (E-SE): the text points out that there are lots of animal tracks.
Zae seaside[edit]
- The shipwreck (E-SE): the text repeats that the ogress is very smelly; also notice that she hugs Gorn very tightly when he approaches. Who could react to the ogress smell?
- The island (SE): according to folklore, a werewolf can only be killed by silver.
