The Submarine hunt minigame is a minigame that occurs when you first 'acquire' your very own submarine in Disk 2. The game consists of politing your submarine around a fairly small map, avoiding mines and torpedo fire from other submarines while trying to sink the red Shin-Ra submarine with torpedoes, which is transporting the huge materia that the party is after.
