Major League Baseball 2K (known first as World Series Baseball prior to 2004, and then as ESPN Major League Baseball for the 2004 installment) is a series of Major League Baseball video games, developed by Visual Concepts and Kush Games, and published by 2K Sports. Originally a product of Sega's 2K series of games, the series shifted when Take-Two Interactive bought the series in 2005. There were nine games in the MLB 2K series: 2K5, 2K6, 2K7, 2K8, 2K9, 2K10, 2K11, 2K12 and 2K13. All games were created for each MLB season.
