The Kettle for this mission is over the boss kettle. to get to it, get on top of the brick building to the left of the boss kettle, then use the Dash Pad on the building to jump to the mission Kettle.
Beginning[edit]
There is a path leading up to a platform with a barrier in the center. Behind it is an Octotrooper. To the right is an Inkfurler. Roll it out to get to a small platform and climb up the wall ahead. On top is a larger platform with a bumper in the middle and two Octotroopers near it. Attached to the right side are two Inkfurlers by the side and barriers between them. Unfurl one or both of them to reach and fight two Octotroopers circling a bumper. Jump off if necessary and climb up the wall ahead. There will be an Inkfurler attached to the front side of the platform, with two Sprinklers and an Octopod, which will re-furl the Inkfurler when you unfurl it. Defeat them, unfurl the Inkfurler, and go along the path to the first checkpoint.
Checkpoint 1[edit]
There are three Inkfurlers on the front side of the platform below, two by the edges and one in the middle. There are barriers in between them, and three Shielded Octotroopers on the other side. You may unfurl the Inkfurlers to splat them. Unfurl the Inkfurler across the gap to reach the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 2[edit]
Unfurl the Inkfurler nearby the climb up the uninkable wall. Unfurl the Inkfurler to the left and the one after it to splat the shielded Octotrooper on the wall and climb the wall. There will be an Octotrooper to the right and another Inkfurler to the left. Unfurl it to find two more. Unfurl them, climb up the wall and there will be the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 3[edit]
In front are two long Inkfurlers. Unfurl them and splat the two Octotroopers on the other side. The Octotroopers may refurl the Inkfurler while shooting you. Break the crates behind them and go along the path to reach the launchpad to the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 4[edit]
There are six Inkfurlers placed in an alternating pattern, three on the left unfurling to the right, three on the right unfurling to the left. There are also two Octotroopers, one in the far right corner, one in the closer left corner. Unfurl the Inkfurlers to reach the other side, where sits the launchpad to the final checkpoint.
Final Checkpoint[edit]
Unfurl the Inkfurler ahead to climb up to the next platform. Ahead is a wide passage with four Shielded Octotroopers on the other side. One may take the passage and take on the octotroopers or alternatively climb up the block to the right with the help of Inkfurlers. There will be a long Inkfurler attached to the block, leading to another Inkfurler to the right of the Octotroopers. By unfurling the Inkfurler, one is able to take out all four Shielded Octotroopers altogether. Be wary that the Octotroopers may refurl the Inkfurler, but constant firing will eventually overwhelm them. After that, get into the Ink Cannon ahead and eliminate the Octotroopers, Sprinklers and Octocopters, and unfurl the Inkfurler on the other side, leading the player to the Zapfish.
