Sink into the Ink and SWIM! is the second level of the Splatoon 3 story mode Return of the Mammalians. This level is designed to help you learn how to swim in ink and make quick turns, risky maneuvers, and long jumps while doing so.

How to Access[edit]

When you start from the previous stage, Octarians in the Crater? YIKES!, move forward and go towards the Fuzzy Ooze. Use Smallfry to get rid of it, and keep moving forward. Walk down the corridor until there is Fuzzy Ooze to your right. Remove it, go down the ramp, and the kettle will be there.

First Checkpoint[edit]

When you start the level, you are on a thin strip of land. At the end of this, there is a launchpad. when you Super Jump down, you land on a long trail of your ink with Power Eggs dotted along and squid rings to jump through. Go into swim form and move to progress through the stage. There are puddles of enemy ink around your trail, so be careful not to swerve into it. Keep moving forward and you will see a dash track. Touch a dash track and go flying in the direction it faces. Step on it and keep moving. Keep moving and jumping on dash tracks, and you will reach the Final Checkpoint.

Final Checkpoint[edit]

Keep swimming and step on the dash track. You will be launched next to a large tower. Swim around it by using dash tracks until you reach a part where you have to manually jump.If you look, there is an inkable part of this tower. Ink it and swim up it. If you want extra Power Eggs, you can continue to circle around until you reach here again. Swim up the wall and defeat the Blobby Octotrooper. Grab the Zapfish and finish the level.
