The Hanged Man[edit]

This is a jigsaw puzzle. As with other jigsaw puzzles in this game, you can use the border to identify the location of pieces, as well as the obvious letters.

Complete the jigsaw to unlock The Page of Cups.

The Page of Cups[edit]

This anagram puzzle is based on the names of fishes.

The answers are:

  • Perch
  • Trout
  • Minnow
  • Sardine
  • Goldfish
  • Halibut

This will unlock The Knight of Cups.

The Knight of Cups[edit]

This is a cryptogram, and you are provided a clue: XOLGQ CROFF = DEATH KNELL

First, fit the single-letter word as "I". You should be able to fit "knight" on the second row. In the previous puzzle from the page of cups, the blinking words "no ship" also appear in this puzzle, and may be placed in the fourth row. From here, the rest of the puzzle should be solved to "Alas I do he sighed / your knight says / that / no ship has landed / upon your shore".

This puzzle is the message for The Queen of Cups.

The Children[edit]

There are six buttons used to construct a phrase around the starting letters "OF". They are:

  1. Prepends "E ARE", appends "CA"
  2. Prepends "AST " (trailing space)
  3. Prepends "W", appends "RE"
  4. Appends "SE W"
  5. Prepends "HE L", appends " THO" (leading space)
  6. Prepends " T" (leading space), appends "HO"

This button puzzle is easy, since you may be able to tell which order to click the buttons, simply by looking at the left or right of the phrase. Eventually, you should get the combination 254613, to produce "We are the last of those who care", as used in The Couple.

The couple[edit]

Find the letters to place within the entry boxes. Look at the first letter of each word, and enter them in to reach The Dancers.

The Dancers[edit]

Solve the pentomino puzzle. There are three lines of text, and it's easiest to work from the bottom up, starting with the piece with three letters. Once you have the text "The Rainbow of Hope" and placed the remaining pieces, you can proceed to The Family.

The Not-A-merchant[edit]

No puzzle here, only a meta-puzzle clue.

The Queen of Cups[edit]

This is a 3x3 word square puzzle, with the center square being an "I". As such, there are two ways to solve the puzzle.

The three words are TOE, WIN and OLD. In the other direction, they are TWO, OIL and END.

You will unlock The Cup.

The Cup[edit]

No puzzle here, only a meta puzzle hint.

The Cloud[edit]

This is a jigsaw puzzle. It's easiest to start by putting the chalices together, then focusing on the words, starting at the top. The rest of the puzzle should follow.

The Vision[edit]

A pentomino puzzle. Place the longest vertical piece first, since it localizes two of the words, and lets you build them.

The three words in this puzzle are "Fourteen", "Eight", and "Fifteen", references to The Enchantment.

The Enchantment[edit]

Staring with TN, transform the string by pressing the seven buttons below.

  1. Appends "EE""
  2. Appends "TEE"
  3. Prepends "SI" and appends "N"
  4. Prepends "X"
  5. Prepends "XT"
  6. Reverses the String
  7. Replaces "T" with "-SI"

Remember that this is in the series of number-based puzzles, and the result will also be a number. To make the puzzle slightly easier, try determining when buttons 2 and 5 should be pressed in relation to button 7. From there, it is a matter of determining the order of the other buttons.

You can also try solving buttons one at a time. Pick two buttons, and determine in which order they seem to make the most sense, and add other buttons as long as you feel you are progressing.

The solution is 4167523, and the result is Sixteen-sixteen, as shown in The Abandoned Cups.

The Abandoned Cups[edit]

No puzzle here, only a metapuzzle hint.

The Hierophant[edit]

These anagrams are based on numbers.

The answers:

  • Three and Fourteen
  • Two and Twelve
  • One and Nineteen
  • Five and Seventeen
  • Six and Thirteen

This unlocks The Cloud.

The Moon[edit]

To solve this puzzle, click on all buttons to activate them. Next, toggle each button to see whether or not it more closly matches a three-letter word.

Only five buttons need to remain deactivated to produce the word AIH, as used in The Blacksmith.
