Controls[edit]
- , , and : By default, you must use these four keys, to make Berk (or Drutt) walk up, down, left, and right, and to switch between Berk and Drutt (whose name is misspelled as "Drut" on the start screen); however, if you press upon this screen you can change the keys to whatever combination you want and can even switch the input to a Kempston joystick by pressing (if one is connected). You will also have to press to start the game (along with to pause it and to resume it) - and Berk and Drutt must both work as a team, to save Boni.
Berk and Drutt[edit]
Berk, the friendly blue creature (who is again a darker shade of blue than he was in the show, as seen in the image to the left) and his friend Drutt, the gray spider who sounded like Nero of Cosgrove-Hall's Danger Mouse (although due to technical limitations, he is again depicted as yellow in this game, as shown in the image to the right) are the protagonists of this game; they are on a mission to save Boni the skull (who was kidnapped by one of the monsters living under the Trap Door), and neither of them can get very far without helping each other (just like in the show), as either one can get into a nasty situation where only the other one can save them. Small objects are placed under the castle for them to eat (all of which shall have side effects on them when consumed, some good and some bad) - and you will have to use some of these effects, so be careful.
