Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Animangamaniac! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- najzereT 22:29, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Editing[edit]

Hi, just a couple notes. We prefer that guides be written in paragraph format, as opposed to lists, to give the guides a more formal style. On editing specifically, you can't start a line with a blank space or the following text will be unformatted (it causes those long lines of text that go off the side of the page), use ==Headings== to denote sections instead of just bolded text, and be careful not to delete essential templates from pages when clearing them (like the {{Footer Nav}}). You may find it helpful to read through the walkthrough of the SW Guide and look around at some of the more mature guides to get a feel for style nuances and learn the ins and out of wiki markup. Thanks for your contributions! — najzereT 06:26, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Preload buttons[edit]

Here's what the buttons look like.

Hi, please use the preload buttons located above the edit text box when creating a new page. These buttons will insert the needed templates and formatting for you, which helps keep uniformity across the wiki. — najzereT 03:01, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Also, please look at the changes being made to the pages you edit, so you can format your future contributions accordingly. Thank you, — najzereT 03:01, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi, this is your second warning to use the preload buttons when making a new page. The {{Header Nav}} and {{Footer Nav}} templates are mandatory for every guide page. This is a very simple request that only requires you click one button before beginning to edit a new page. Please start using this function and reading your talk page. Thanks, — najzereT 16:28, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Hello again, this is yet another note to please start using the preload buttons. I've had to go back in and add the {{Footer Nav}} to each page you've created. It's as simple as clicking one button, so just help us out okay? Thanks, — najzereT 17:46, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
