Editing[edit]
Hi Archerus, thanks for editing the Warcraft III guide. I have a couple notes for you, so your contributions will fit in with the style of the site. First, use the "Guide page" button above the edit text box when making a new page in a guide and it will automatically put the {{Header Nav}} and {{Footer Nav}} templates into the page for you. Secondly, use the "Show preview" button instead of saving the page so you can see how your edits are looking. When you're all done with a page, then save it and that way we can cut down all the small edits in the page's history. Lastly, make sure you're not using any language in the first-person. We write the guides in the third-person, so try to avoid using words like "I" or "me" when editing. Thanks again for contributing and taking in this new stuff! - najzereT 17:56, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, just a reminder: make sure not to let any drivel slip into your edits, i.e. first-person perspective words like "we," "our," or "I." Also, please don't put many lines of extra whitespace at the ends of articles. Thanks! - najzereT 01:02, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
