Battle City[edit]

Hi Artman40. I've been meaning to leave you a message for a while now. Thanks so much for all of the wonderful additions that you have made to the Battle City. The notes that you left on the Talk page are very interesting, and I don't see why they couldn't be officially incorporated into the Walkthrough page, if you like. Be bold. Let me know if there's anything that I can do to help. ^_^ Procyon (Talk) 09:35, 7 June 2007 (CDT)

  • Actually you can help. :) You should add these, after formatting into the walkthrough and how to play page. --Artman40 17:03, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
It would be best if you could add the information where you believe it fits best. That way your name is put in the history, rather than one of us. We can then help with cleaning it up after though. -- Prod (Talk) 17:15, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
I agree with Prod, I would encourage you to go ahead and place the edits yourself so that you get the hang of editing, and feel more comfortable with it. Give it a shot, we'll do any necessary cleaning up when you're done. You deserve ownership over your contributions. Procyon (Talk) 18:37, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
So. I've done already some things and nice for cleaning up after me. :) So next tactics and tips would be spawn camping for an example. XD --Artman40 10:17, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
Awesome job Artman40. If you don't mind, I've moved your Tips & strategies section from the bottom of How to play to the top of the Walkthrough. There was no particular reason for this other than that the Walkthrough page was rather lacking in content besides the stage pictures. If you disagree with the move, feel free to revert it back to the way that it was, but I think you work gets more exposure at the top of Walkthrough than burried at the bottom of How to play. Keep up the great work! Procyon (Talk) 10:40, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
Spawn camping part done. You know any nore tactics and facts? --Artman40 15:20, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
Not a one, you are far and away the bigger Battle City expert here :) I do my best to set up guides and provide as much information as I have about a game, and wait for people like you come along and improve what I started. Procyon (Talk) 18:11, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Please add your information to the main pages, not the talk pages. You're adding all this great information, but hiding it on the talk pages where almost nobody looks. Don't worry about formatting, just put the information where you think it is useful. -- Prod (Talk) 09:35, 10 June 2007 (CDT)

I've converted it to table form. My suggestion would be to put the level image in the column with the level name. If you are uncertain about how to work the table syntax, check the guide. Try it out in the sandbox also. -- Prod (Talk) 10:34, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
lol, I kind of tackled the problem from the opposite direction. I merged the pictures with the formatting you already had. Ultimately, the best solution would probably be the combination of both of our approaches, but my priority was to collapse the page as much as possible. So, you an decide which approach you like better and work from there. Procyon (Talk) 10:44, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
Ok! Just format a bit more. :) Maybe a little partition for tactics for each level? XD --Artman40 12:32, 11 June 2007 (CDT)
I would suggest trying it out, or at least make a mockup or something in paint. That way we can figure out what you would like the first time, rather than multiple tries. -- Prod (Talk) 20:47, 11 June 2007 (CDT)
Ok. Lets see then...--Artman40 06:10, 12 June 2007 (CDT)

Warpman[edit]

Hi Artman! Good to see you back. Please don't hesitate to add stuff into a guide if you feel it belongs there. There's very little point in raising the suggestion on a Talk Page. You seem to know exactly what a guide needs, and what doesn't belong on a guide, so don't be afraid to simply add the information whenever you feel like it. If the information is incomplete, or not formatted correctly, don't worry, we'll come along behind you and tidy it up. I just don't want you to feel like you have to run ideas past anyone first. Procyon (Talk) 13:51, 9 August 2007 (CDT)

  • I've got to tell you that Warpman is so obscure game (although made by one of the most famous video game companies), that this site is practically the only place for information for this game.

Zanac[edit]

Hello again :) Thanks very much for all of your contributions to the Zanac guide. I think it's really awesome that you are improving this guide. Keep up the great work! Procyon (Talk) 21:15, 21 August 2008 (CDT)

  • I added as much information as I could find and research but pages are now a bit messy. Quite a few pages, most notably aerial targets section, need a few tables, reformatting and arrangements.--Artman40 07:30, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
