Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Tehelements! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the editing article or the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 18:35, 15 March 2007 (CDT)

MS monsters[edit]

elements are already listed on a separate page, the only important part is whether they are undead or not. So don't add their weaknesses under their names. Additionally, the monster name should not be changed because it breaks image links. On top of that, make sure to spell check your additions, and don't add "player lore" like Bob the snail. When things are reverted, don't add it again, it causes edit wars. IsaacGS 20:23, 15 April 2007 (CDT)

I'm gonna emphasize it again, PLEASE check your spelling when you add stuff. I have to go back after almost all of your contributions to fix spelling mistakes...--IsaacGS 02:53, 18 December 2007 (CST)

Do a spell check before saving a page. Even though your contributions are good, your lack of spelling ability makes you look like a 5 year old. If you continue to disregard these messages, I'll temporarily ban you to give you enough time to find a Dictionary or Spell Checker for your browser. --Skizzerz (talk · contribs) 16:39, 21 May 2008 (CDT)

For the monster images, for some reason different people have trouble seeing different monsters. For example, I could see the pink book ghost just fine. I've talked to a few people who had trouble seeing things I could see, but they could see things I couldn't. Not sure what's causing it but uploading new images doesn't really help in the long run.--IsaacGS 02:57, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Drivel[edit]

Do not add junk to pages; things such as, "WHOS YOUR DADDY." --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:58, 1 May 2008 (CDT)

Image categorisation[edit]

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories and the guide-specific category, i.e. [[Category:MapleStory monster images]]. The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --najzereT 06:15, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi, this is your second warning to properly categorize your uploads. Here is an example diff: MS Monster Cursed Cat.png. Please remember to add the appropriate categories in the Summary field when uploading in the future. Thanks, – najzereT 08:13, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Hello, this is your third and final warning to put proper category tags in the Summary field when uploading images. See Image:MS Monster Overlord A.png for how one of your recent uploads was categorized. Thanks, — najzereT 20:28, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Adding new Monsters to monster pages/lists[edit]

When adding new monster data, please also update the lists associated with them:

  1. MapleStory/Monsters/Complete list
  2. MapleStory/Monsters/Elements (if applicable)
  3. MapleStory/Monsters/Quests (if applicable)
  4. MapleStory/Monsters/Events (if applicable)
  5. MapleStory/Monsters/Bosses (if applicable; in this case, Olivia)

Thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 07:04, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Hm, since you're aware of the event monsters page, just worry about the complete list and the boss page. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 07:07, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
