Protagonists
Chris Redfield
One of the "Original Eleven" founding members of the BSAA, Chris is a former S.T.A.R.S operative with ten years' experience fighting bioweapons. Following a recent confrontation with Albert Wesker at the Spencer Estate, Chris' partner Jill Valentine was apparently killed, which Chris feels partly responsible for.
He has just been reassigned to investigate a terrorist weapons deal in the African village of Kijuju, where he will meet his new partner Sheva Alomar for the first time.
Sheva Alomar
When her parents were killed by an Umbrella experiment at the plant they worked in, Sheva ended up living with a group of mercenaries. When she went into town one day for supplies, she was contacted by the authorities, who told her that her group were involved in a biological weapons deal. Sheva agreed to help stop the deal, and in return the BSAA funded her education in America.
She has just been assigned as Chris Redfield's new partner.
Reynard Fisher
A member of the BSAA assigned to be Chris and Sheva's mission contact upon their arrival in Kijuju. He disguised as a butcher and provided Chris and Sheva with their weapons, just prior to his unfortunate capture and execution by the Majini.
Kirk
Chris's radio contact during the beginning of the mission, Kirk provides Chris and Sheva with valuable help from above with his chopper. Not long after was his untimely demise at the hands of the Majini.
Josh Stone
The only surviving member of Delta Team after an attack by Uroboros, Josh is the person who trained Sheva. He helps Chris and Sheva escape a few tight situations with his unmatched knowledge and hacking skills.
Jill Valentine
Assumed dead by Chris, Jill Valentine makes a comeback and reveals that she is, in fact, alive. Dressing as a mysterious hooded female figure, she fought alongside Wesker, with total awareness but no control of her part. This was due to a device that Wesker planted on Jill's chest. After Chris and Sheva returned Jill back to normal, she proves to be an extremely resourceful ally once again.
Enemies
There isn't a game without enemies. Plenty of ugly bad guys are at your disposal to waste. They range from pesky townspeople that waste your ammo to gigantic wormy bosses that will take some time to knock down.
Majini
Swahili for "evil spirit", the Majini are ordinary people infected with a weaponized parasitic organism called Las Plagas. Unlike the Plagas that infected the Ganados of a Spanish village in a previous incident, Las Plagas has been improved so that infection is instantaneous.
Town Majini
Majini from the village pose a small threat alone, but they like to gather up in giant hordes. They wield simple melee weapons such as knives, axes, maces, and clubs.

The head of the Tricell pharmaceutical company's African division.
Albert Wesker
A former Umbrella researcher, Wesker founded the S.T.A.R.S. special ops team in the Raccoon City police department to test the combat abilities of bio-organic weapons developed by Umbrella. Since his disappearance following the events at the Spencer Mansion, Wesker has been working on his own plans of global domination, with bioweapons as his preferred method.
