:::::There are a few other things I thought of. Technically you do have to talk to Elaine, so shouldn't she be in supporting characters? And also you never actually ''need'' to speak to Hope, Cherry, Darna, Derrick or Dougal, yet they're in the supporting characters. Thia is probably more directed at Hope since all the other shopkeepers on the island are in minor charcters. {{User:Melon247/My sig}} 07:16, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Melon247, this is Chrona (I've been updating the Petz Dogz 2 Fish page). To answer your question, yes, I have caught all the fish in the game. Throughout my objective to do this I discovered that many fish (more than the table currently indicates) can be found in more than one location. I intend to put that information in as I get it, but I have at least one location for every fish as of now.

However, I do have a favor to ask. I can't figure out how to add the last fish onto the Fish page table, as there is only one fish left, but the table is apparently set up in columns of 3...and, as I tried to add it, I shifted the table somewhat, so I undid my work. Since you are probably far more familiar with the editing code than I, you may add the last fish, which is a Golden Angler Fish, and can be caught in Polar Fields (sea pier). Thank you so much. Please Melon247 I need help I copied what you told me and I got this --[[user:Wikiman625|Wikiman]][[user talk:Wikiman625|625]] 19:54, 8 April 2009 (UTC)!

Thanks Melon i got it down! --Wikiman625 12:54, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Hey Melon247, How do you get yourself to have (talk · contribs · competition) at the end of your name?

And how did you upload the picture? --Wikidude321 22:27, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorry it was a typo I was trying to show my brother how to do it his name is Wikidude321 and I must've accidently logged into my account instead. XD --Wikiman625 Jolly Roger.gif 13:08, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the nomination and the kind words, I appreciate it. --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 22:01, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Thought I'd let you know I moved the color chart, so it's no longer sitting on a test page that I might clear on a whim. I moved it so the test page will redirect for a while, but eventually I'll probably have something I want to mess with to overwrite the redirect. --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 02:41, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

The Dog Island

Hey, just giving you a heads up that I just got the PS2 version of The Dog Island and am 3 hours in. I'll be sure to give the guide a good thorough proof read while playing through. Goodness, that game is the most adorable thing ever. --Zaiqukaj 10:57, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

I got kind of burnt out on The Dog Island, so I haven't gotten very far on my game on the PS2, but what we could really use is a {{control selector}} with the PS2 controls added anywhere on the guide that just has Wii controls right now. Thanks for taking this game up! - najzereT 15:14, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Forum block

You aren't blocked on the forums... --Skizzerz 00:35, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

IRC

I do not mind any questions from you Melon. If you ever wonder about something then please ask away. :3 The computer I normally edit on can not access it. Once I can use my home computer I tend to simply forget to try to figure out how IRC works. Beyond that I have learned that I get absolutely nothing done if the option for chatting is available instead (and Zaiqukaj is technically not very outgoing). --Zaiqukaj 21:29, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Well you now have the honor of being the final variable to get me to take a look at the forums. --Zaiqukaj 22:31, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Competition

I think I'm going to bow out of the competition for this time around, but it's just because I have too many guides I want to work on right now that are partially started. In fact, I've been staying out of IRC for the most part lately for the same reason. Hopefully I can get a couple of guides up to a decent place, then I'll feel comfortable starting another guide when the next competition comes up. --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 23:56, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Competition rules

I was wondering if Sigma7's choice for the competition is acceptable. E.V.O.: Search for Eden already has a controls page and a cheats page started. If you ignore these for the competition, maybe you should edit the rules a bit to tell us what we are being judged on (walkthrough only?). The pages aren't a big deal anyways, but it will give him a head start. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 00:31, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking about that. If you think about it then what happens if someone picks a simulation game? Although I guess they aren't likely to have too many pages anyway. I was thinking about having a rule that pages already started won't count in the competition. Maybe I'll add a "pages started" section so I remember which ones they are. --Melon247 Hammy, my hamster. Hey Melon, I had a new idea for a competition (maybe the next one in July can be this way): each person starts a guide like normal, but they have to try and do their best with a guide for a game that they've never played nor have access to. What I mean is, they would have to search online and research the game using a pre-existing walkthrough and do everything that way. What do you think? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 04:58, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea, I guess, but maybe I'll wait until there's a few more people entering the competition first so I don't put people off. --Melon247 Hammy, my hamster. Cute! (talk · contribs · comp) 07:43, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
It would be fun to have variant requirements that change (I love this idea). Like the suggested “yet to be played game” or we could at some point have something like “adopt a completion lv 0-1 page”. There are lot’s of possibilities here. --Zaiqukaj 14:48, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
I think these probably work better than "collab of the month" style encouragements because a lot of our users don't play or have access to the same games. Because these promote "play your favorite game" or "play some strange game you've been meaning to get around to", people like us are more likely to just jump in. Hard to say since I've only been watching it play out on a small scale. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 17:44, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Character page

Why are you putting images of Emilio and Maria? These will be whatever breed the player chooses, with whatever accessories the player chooses. Emilio, Maria, Mar and Doluk shouldn't be pictured, but rather noted in their descriptions that your family is determined by the breed you choose. — najzereT 07:48, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

I didn't originally put images of them, I just thought since there was an image of Emilio, there might as well be one of Maria. --Melon247 Hammy, my hamster. Cute! (talk · contribs · comp) 08:06, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Like I said, I haven't made it up to the latest edits to the Characters page in recent changes, but those images should just be removed. I'll just respond here about the cutscene locations too, since I see you've just left me another message =P. Yeah, exactly like in your example of Dr. Potan. No one will be able to use that information to find the dog (which I think is the purpose of the locations) and they're going to see the cutscene regardless. — najzereT 15:32, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
We should keep the Puroro Town bit on Dr. Potan, since he sends you letters and stuff from there, and they won't go looking for himn there because they can't. And also, why can't we have images of maria and emilio and mar? It shows basically what they look like, and it mentions that they use the same breed as you. And also you can't choose Emilio/Maria's accessories... --Melon247 Hammy, my hamster. Cute! (talk · contribs · comp) 15:35, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I already changed the page before I saw you responded, but the reason is simply that it serves no purpose. The images will be inaccurate for the vast majority of readers and it's already explained in their descriptions that their appearance is variable. As for Dr. Potan, that would be a good thing to add to his description if it's not already there. — najzereT 21:28, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
