Children of Mana/Characters

Playable characters

There are four playable character in Children of Mana, all with their unique stats, strengths and weaknesses. Players can customise their chosen sprite to a limited extent by choosing a colour of their characters dress, hair, hat or style, depending on which character you choose. It must be noted, however, that the default colours will always be shown by the avatar when speaking to NPCs and in the status menu and it is only the sprite that is affected.

Ferrick

After being rescued ten years ago by a knight after his parents and sister were killed in the Cataclysm, Ferrick has a burning desire to be like the one who saved him. His stats are average, making him a good all-rounder, talented at magic, attack and defence.

Tamber

In-game description	"A dancer with magical talents. Though not powerful, her attacks are swift."

Tamber lost her parents and her little brother Toby during the Cataclysm. Despite her age, she has an air of maturity about her and will always do the right thing. Tamber was a dancer and acrobat in a troupe and therefore has an above average speed stat and a weak attack, so while she may not be hitting hard, she'll certainly be hitting fast. She also has a talent for magic.

Poppen

In-game description	"A mage specializing in attack spells. Low defence. Unskilled in close combat."

Poppens' father died in the great disaster and his mother in childbirth. Although growing up never knowing his parents faces, Poppen considers Tamber and Ferrick his real siblings. Whilst Poppen has a low attack and defence, he can sure pack a punch with his magic.

Wanderer

Despite having roamed all over the world, Wanderer still loves the isle of Illusia and has lived there for many years. Wanderer has the highest attack and defence out of all of the characters, but is not very good at magic.
