Pick a planet[edit]

After clearing the Gotham stage, you can access a selection of stages and clear them in any order you want. Simply scroll through the world map and find the stage you want to tackle next to begin the level.

Part 1: The Reach mothership[edit]

  • 2 Minikits

This level starts off with a space battle similar to the one in the fourth level. All controls and powerups are the same as before. First off, you need to destroy 50 fly ships. These tiny ships usually fly in V-shaped formations and are easily shot due to how closely they're packed together, so you should be able to shoot all 50 after a short while. Once you destroy them all, a tentacle will extend from the mothership. You must get two homing missile power-ups and fire them at the tentacle to damage the ship. Once the tentacle retracts, the next phase of the battle will begin.

For the second phase, you must shoot down 40 fly ships and 10 beetle ships. The beetle ships are noticeably larger and take more shots to kill. Destroy enough ships in each category to cause another tentacle to appear. Fire two missiles at this tentacle to take it out, starting the last part of the space battle. In addition to the 10 beetle ships you must now destroy, you must also take down 5 leech-like ships. Like the tentacles they resemble, these writhing spacecraft require homing missiles to destroy. Soon, the last tentacle will sprout from the mothership. Two more homing missiles to the tentacle will neutralize the mothership, crippling the invasion force.

Part 2: The jungles of Odym[edit]

  • 8 Minikits, 3 Character Tokens, Red Brick, Adam West

On the surface, the situation is still very dire. As you head down the path from the landing spot, you'll be attacked not just by Reach Warriors, but also huge beetles. Break the flower at the center of the clearing to find a lightning pad. Have The Flash use the pad and select the highlighted objects to create a large vacuum, which sucks in some rocks from an adjacent wall. Use Martian Manhunter's super senses in the alcove created to reveal a green portal. Go through the portal to find yourself in front of a large tentacle. Burn off the golden part on the tentacle to cause the creature to move away.

The tentacle from before is actually a giant worm, and it's agitated enough to attack you if you come close. You can use Martian Manhunter's super senses again on the ledge above the worm to detect a metal plate holding up some rocks. Use Cyborg's Power Suit to blow up the plate with explosives, dropping some rocks on the worm and driving it away. Now you can climb on to the high ledge using the rocks and a vine hanging from above. After defeating more Reach Warriors further down the path, use the Power Suit to clear away the wreckage of a beetle ship, then walk across the gap using the vine bridge.

You seem to reach a dead end on the other side of the bridge, only to be ambushed by Reach beetles. Kill them all, then use the pieces that they unearthed when bursting out of the ground to make a lightning pad. Have The Flash stand on the pad and highlight three plants to construct a giant carnivorous plant. The plant will swallow the yellow bug hanging on the wall whole, letting you access a cave hidden behind the vines.

Destroy the metal rock with the Power Suit, then use Martian Manhunter to go through the green portal behind the rocks. You won't go far before being obstructed by the worm once more, so switch to Cyborg and use the Magnet Suit on the worm's blue segment to move it forward. Martian Manhunter will automatically move forward if controlled by the AI. Switch back to him and laser the gold part of the worm now that you're in range to drive it off again. After you go past another vine bridge, you'll finally find Saint Walker, who has been captured by a Scarab Beetle!

Before you can free Saint Walker, you must first fight off a bunch of Reach Warriors and smaller beetles. The Scarab Beetle's limbs are made up of blue metal, so Cyborg's Magnet Suit can make it loosen its grip, freeing Saint Walker who immediately joins your party. Use Martian Manhunter's super senses somewhere in front of the Scarab to reveal a dirt pile, then dig in it with Saint Walker. Assemble the pieces you unearth into a power ring pad, then use Saint Walker on the pad to make a bird statue construct that attracts a flock of Odym avians.

The construct draws the attention of a nearby bird of prey, which snatches the Scarab Beetle away for food. With the Blue Power Battery, Saint Walker gladly offers to lend his power of hope to restore the shrunken Earth.

Collectables[edit]

Minikits[edit]

  1. During the battle with the mothership, look for 5 satellites hovering around the ship and destroy them all to earn this Minikit.
  2. There is a metal rock orbiting around the mothership. Target it with a homing missile to blow it up, then grab the Minikit it leaves behind.
  3. (Free Play only) Look for a faint glow in a pond near your landing point. Use the Scuba or Dive Suit to sink into the pond and get the Minikit.
  4. (Free Play only) Destroy 5 metal flowers with explosives during the on-foot section. The first metal flower is high up on an arch above the landing spot. The second flower is on a wall near the beetle ship wreckage. The third flower is visible around the carnivorous plant area. The fourth flower is above a waterfall near the end. Lastly, the fifth flower is located near the floating islands underneath the area with the large Scarab.
  5. (Free Play only) Fly up to the arch above the landing point and you should find both a glittering black rock and a recharge station. Use Brainiac's shrink ray to shrink the rock, causing a giant worm to appear. Attack it with explosives to ward it off, then brighten the dark cave it came from with the Illumination Suit to find a gold orb. Laser it to reveal the Minikit.
  6. (Free Play only) With the Illumination Suit still charged up, go to the river with the lily pads and illuminate the dark cave there to find a gold wall. Cut a hole in the wall with a laser to get the Minikit behind it.
  7. After creating the carnivorous plant, use ranged attacks to knock down three pillbug-like creatures from the ceiling of the cave. Use the Magnet Suit to feed the bugs to the plant, which will spit out a Minikit as your reward.
  8. During the confrontation with the Scarab, destroy 3 purple birds' nests. The first two are plainly visible when you enter the area and are practically adjacent to each other. The last bird's nest is on the right, above the small waterfall. You'll automatically get the Minikit once you shoot all three.
  9. Fly to the cracked wall behind the Scarab and use Martian Manhunter's giant form to punch right through it. Climb up the vine to get the Minikit.
  10. (Free Play only) Near the end, you can find a swamp patch on the waterfall. Dive in as Solomon Grundy or Swamp Thing to unearth what is basically an oversized watering can. Stand on the button in front of it to water a plant, causing it to sprout into a flower with a golden center. Use a laser to destroy the plant and get the Minikit.

Character Tokens[edit]

  • Blue Beetle: (Free Play only) Bat-Mite can be found at the beginning of the ground section, asking you to find a ray gun for him. At the river you can cross with lily-pads, you should see a sunken box below. Smash the weights keeping the box in the water, then force it open with a grappling hook to find the ray gun. Give it to Bat-Mite to claim your token.
  • Reach Warrior: (Free Play only) When trying to free Saint Walker, fly below the ground to find a chain of floating islands underneath. Use Brainiac's shrink ray to minimize a purplish black rock on one of the islands, exposing an R panel behind it. Use the techno suit's remote-controlled helper to pass through the panel, appearing on a ledge below to get the token.
  • Captain Cold: (Free Play only) At the floating island chain, use the Magnet Suit to open up a blue flower bud so that you can get the token inside.

Red Brick[edit]

(Free Play only) Beside the Scarab that captured Saint Walker is a dark, shining rock. Use Brainiac's shrink ray to remove it, revealing a striped pad underneath. Have Plastic Man use the pad to transform him into a chainsaw, trimming a nearby plant into the shape of his head. Use a sonic ray to shatter the bust's glasses to reach the Red Brick inside. This Red Bric gives you the Adam West in Peril Detector, so that you always know where to rescue Adam West both during levels and while free roaming.

Adam West in Peril[edit]

(Free Play only) Adam West is trapped in a bird of prey's nest somewhere after where you first encountered the giant worm. Use Brainiac's shrink ray to shrink a rock higher on the cliff down, causing the rock above it to tumble into the nest, scaring away the bird. Use the chunks of rock from the aftermath of the event to build a flight of stairs, letting Adam West climb down to solid ground.
