There are 47 different weapons in Pool of Radiance, but only 32 icons.

Common weapons

Magic-users, clerics, and thieves can use a limited selection of weapons. The class with the most narrow choice is the magic-user, followed by the cleric, then the thief.

  • Class abbreviations:
    • M = magic-user (3 weapons)
    • C = cleric (5 weapons)
    • T = thief (8 weapons)
    • F = fighter (all 47 weapons)

Magic-user

Magic-users can fight using their spells alone.

Magic-users are unable to use shields.

In Pools of Darkness (the 5th episode of the series), they will be able to use slings.

Long-range
