Normal Strategy
Carefully navigate the cogs, and then carefully dodge the Thwomps. When you reach the door to Larry, jump between the two coins on the left for a power-up.
Boss Battle
Larry Koopa has the same attacks as in World 1-Fortress, but this time, Kamek manipulates the stage so that different parts shift up and down at different intervals. This can be used to your advantage, as he can get somewhat stuck in a lower area while using his shell spin attack. He is defeated after being jumped on three times
Star Coins
- Star Coin #1: Jump onto the cog with four spokes and jump to the star coin.
- Star Coin #2: After the first small thwomps try to crush you, a giant thwomp will smash through some bricks allowing you access to the second star coin.
- Star Coin #3: At the final cog, jump at the right time to go down the green pipe. Once down, hit the P switch and quickly run across the bricks to the star coin.
