This guide is for the NES version. For the Game Boy Advance version, see Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls. For the PlayStation compilation, see Final Fantasy Origins.

Final Fantasy I-II was the first compilation of the first two Final Fantasy games, but only released in Japan. Unlike the later versions, this one was basically straight ports of the two games, with almost no changes except for a single typographical error and two monster sprites were slightly altered. While it was never localized there are several English language versions of the ROM available.
