Q: "how long does the package delivery take?"
Q (October 27,2018): What is the normal attack rate for demon slayer lvl 95? and how do I increase my attack rate?

Q: What does the 'Seduce' debuff actually do? I see mentions of it everywhere, but have no idea what it actually is.
Q (September 16, 2012): I get a compatibility warning when I try to run the game. I have also get an error while the game is loading, which causes it to close. I am using Windows Vista or 7 64bit. How do I get the game to work?
:A: Seduce is caused by end game raid bosses such as Horntail and Pinkbean. When active on a player, the player cannot do anything, but their character will run around and jump as if possessed. During this time, the player cannot use potions, and must be healed and buffed to stay alive. The only way to negate Seduce is by using the 4th job skills Hero's Will (available to all 4th jobs, except for both pirate jobs).
:A: some people recommend turning on compatibility mode for the program. An easier fix is to make sure you are running it as an administrator (you will need admin privileges on your user account to be able to do this). Go to C:\Nexon\MapleStory and right click on MapleStory.exe. On the menu select "Send To" and then "Desktop (create shortcut)". Go to your desktop and find the new MapleStory icon (you may want to rename the MapleStory icons on your desktop to distinguish them) and right click on it. Select "Properties", then "Advanced", make sure the "Run as administrator" box is checked and and click ok on each menu to make the change. Run the shortcut, the compatibility prompt may still appear, run the program, Internet Explorer should open, click "Play" and login. The compatibility prompt may appear again, run it, and the game will load and log you in automatically if you have cookies enabled.

Q: I downloaded GlobalMS on Windows Vista. I made a shortcut to maplestory.exe on my desktop. When I clicked on the icon, I got to the patcher (at least that's what I think it was) then, when it was making the .wz files, it said that maplestory.exe couldn't be found! When I searched for it in /Nexon, it wasn't there! What happened, and how can I fix it? (My virus protection said something about deleting trojans in /Nexon, if it's any help.)
Q (January 1 2012) I used to play maple like about four years ago? At that time I remembered that there was a choice to randomise stats to get the desired stats but now the stats for beginners seems to be standard? - STR 12 DEX 5 INT 4 LUK 4. Is there a way to randomise stats like before?
:A: You may have moved the .exe rather than creating an actual shortcut. However, since your antivirus is reporting issues with MapleStory, most likely your antivirus has deleted it. Run an antivirus scan, and several anti-spyware scans to make sure your system is clean. Re-download MapleStory from the official website, then uninstall the current installation and re-run the installation package.
:A: No.

Q: Does the Cwk Exchange Quest still give Gm scrolls for the 1 Handed Sword?
Q (November 25 2011) URGENT!!! IM living in Ireland! I dont know which channel to pick!!!
:A: Channel can be changed at any time, any can be chosen.

Q: Why don't you add HKMS again?? I really want to see the advance of all versions of MS.
Q (October 2,2011): I just bought NX from the online store at "nexon.net". I checked the game twice and it's not there. How long does it take for the NX to actually get to my account so I can spend it?
:HKMS closed and merged with TaiwanMS. It no longer exists as a separate version.

:In conclusion: it is more important to maximize the value that is not being divided in the formula (again, see the formulas). This primary value is Weapon Attack for Warriors, Thieves, Archers, and Pirates (Spell Magic Attack for Magicians, but that comes from SP not AP). Mastery is also very important for Magicians. The issue in the game is that there is a theoretical weapon attack maximum (the highest level equipment + optimal scrolling), whereas AP increases at a steady rate while leveling.
Q (September 11,2011): I am searching for a party for Zakum / Papulatus / Horntail, Where do I go?
:A: Usually the lobby for the quests on channel 1 will have people also searching for a group. Joining a guild can also help find people. However, checking some of fan site forums for people looking for groups will probably get the best results.

Q: In Magatia, what are the quest items that the monsters drop there? I don't have any quest that i need them for.
Q (november 26, 2011): how many mesos is considered rich?
:What items? List their name or we can't answer.

Q: 12-09-08 How do you summon Capt. Latanica in Global MS?
Q (September 11,2011): I reached lvl 120, and my Mastery Books seems really expensive. Is there a fast way to get the books without paying legendary amounts of mesos?
:A: Hunting the monsters, selling any items that drop that you don't need is generally the best way to make enough money. Prioritize which are the most important masteries to get, and focus on those.

:To summon Capt. Latanica, you have to drop the white essence on the altar
Q (April 30,2011): When i exit maplestory a pop-up appears how do i stop that pop-up from appearing.
:A: Simply press Alt+F4 to make it disappear.

Q: I'm starting as a pirate (Brawler) and they get the skill "Improving Max HP Increase" at second job, can i save my AP points form the first job to max my HP? (I'm plan to leech to that point obviously).
Q (May 15, 2010): (MapleStory/Quests/Aran) Level 31, after killing the puppeteer, the next quest is coming up. Where can I find the puppeteer, and how to solve?
No, just like the first job advancement, all AP and SP must be spent before the second job can be achieved.
:A:I think that it might be in Perion, if not there go very deep in Ellinia where the maladydies and such are and go in one of the little holes in the trees.

Q: When i am on the boats, people play games and these blue boxes appear above their head and it says in progress when someone joins. How can i make one of those appear above my head?
Q (May 10, 2010): I just downloaded the newest version of maplestory and when i try to create a character the game shuts down. I have tried multiple times now and It keeps shutting down when i have just selected a character type. What do I do?
:Please see MapleStory/Quests/Mini-Games.
:A: I was having this same problem when I started 4 days ago, to fix it go to c:/nexon/maplestory/
then click on Gamelauncher.exe and open the game through that instead of the website.

Q: I'm a warrior and accidentally dropped my charged attack on top of the hotkey for a regular attack. Now I can't attack regularly anymore. How do I get my regular attack back? I don't have enough MP to charge all the time.
Q (May 10, 2010): I recently got my 3rb job advancement as a marauder (in eMS), and when I went to get my hog, Kenta didn't offer the Monster Riding quest. Is there anything else I need to do before I can get my mount? If not, what's my problem?
In GMS, press \ (above Enter/Return) to open up the hotkey mapping window. At the bottom is a bunch of squares. Unused hotkey assignments appear here. If you've actually removed the hotkey from the keyboard, it will appear down below in one of the small squares. Simply drag it from below up to the key you want it to be on and things should return to normal.
:A: In Europe Maplestory, Pirates are still classed by the game as Beginners. Since Beginners can't get the hog mount, by direct result, Pirates cannot obtain them either.

Q: Can or how do I reset my skill points?
Q (May 10, 2010): Could you add a list with all the debuffs that can be cast by monsters? I sometimes see a monsterskill of which I know nothing, without explanation.
:A: Cash shop items, if available. You can also delete your character and try again.
:A: Done. See Monster abilities and debuffs.

Calculations
Q (May 10, 2010): If you are a Aran, do you need to do the chain of keys to pull off skills, or could you set up a skill button for Combo Fenrir?
:A: you need to do the chain of keys to do the combo fenrir skill.

How much STR equals 1 Weapon Attack?
Q (May 10, 2010): As a Thief, do you buy a case of stars and are able to recharge them from Zero forever? Or when they get to Zro, do you have to buy a new case?
;Short answer
:A: All stars, except A Beginner Thief's Throwing-Stars are rechargeable. It is best to carry around several stacks of stars so that you can eliminate the need to return to town.
*Minimum damage: 5 STR = 1 WA for Warriors.
*Maximum damage: 3 STR = 1 WA for Warriors; 5 LUK = 1 WA for Thieves; 1 INT = 1 MA for Magicians.

;Long answer
Note: the following information is regarding the minimum damage formula. Maximum damage is about 2 times the minimum.

This calculation depends on what class you are and what weapon or skill you are using (see formulas for additional information). For example, if you're a First job dexless Warrior using a Sabre (One-Handed Sword, 32 Weapon Attack), we can set up the minimum damage formula as (note that Mastery has been set to 0.6 in this example):

(((STRx2.16)+4)/100)x32

Q (May 10, 2010): How do you become a Evan and how do you become a Aran? Using global MS?
:A: you simply choose to create a new character, then click on the picture of the job you choose (aran/evan/adventurers/cygnus knights) and then proceed as regular.

Because of the division, the amount of STR required to equal 1 weapon attack is proportional to the amount of damage you want to deal. Lets say you want your minimum damage to be 100. With the Sabre and 4 dex, you would need 143 STR (142.82407; values are rounded to the nearest integer). If you acquired one extra weapon attack (33 instead of 32), by scrolling something or acquiring a new piece of equipment, it would only require 138 STR (138.43996) to reach a minimum of 100 damage. In this example, 5 STR = 1 Weapon attack.
Q (May 10, 2010): Does Soul Arrow work as any arrow? Like you can combine it with hurricane or something of that nature?
:A: Yes, Soul Arrow is the same thing as a regular arrow, except that instead of using normal arrows, you expend MP to use them. Also, it would be highly impractical to use normal arrows for Hurricane ans the skill's high firing rate makes it expend arrows quickly.

However, when you raise the amount of damage you want to deal to something like 1,000 (again using the minimum damage formula), the original Sabre example would require 1445 STR (1444.9074), and the 33 Weapon Attack formula would require 1401 STR (1401.0662; 44 STR = 1 Weapon Attack). If you happened to achieve a very high level and upgraded your weapon heavily to something with 100 weapon attack, it would only require 461 STR (461.111) to reach 1,000 damage. If you raise WA to 101, then it takes 456 STR (456.52732; 5 STR = 1 Weapon Attack). As you can see, the difference has once again gotten smaller.
Q: If you are a melee job, why not use Ap to get about 20 Int? You can use skills a lot more often, dealing more damage anyway?
:A: You would not be able to use skills a lot more often. You would be able to use them a little more often, for less damage anyway, and less damage when you attack normally also. Plus this makes you much more dependent on mana potions than before. Basically, it's a waste of AP.

Before you rush off and say STR is worthless, you should realize that with 461 STR and 100 Weapon Attack, increasing your STR by just 1 (now 462) will increase the output damage to 1002 (1001.92; 1 STR = 2 Damage). Leaving STR at 461 and raising Weapon Attack to 101 increases the damage to 1010 (1009.7576; 1 WA = 10 Damage). As you can see, the output minimum damage at a high level makes 5 STR = 1 Weapon Attack (remember, these examples don't use the bonus dex that most Warriors acquire from items like Zakum Helms; also, this formula uses the capped mastery value of 0.6). Because of how the equation changes, most people use the general rule of thumb "The amount of damage I will gain from 5 STR is the same as if I gain 1 Weapon Attack." An even better rule of thumb is "If I double the amount of Weapon Attack, the amount of damage I will gain from 1 STR will double." The two stats are meant to be increased together, not stacked separately. Also note that many people disregard mastery, however the 0.6 cap is equal to a 40% reduction from many calculations.
Q (May 10, 2010): How long does the package delivery take?
:A: The package delivery service takes approximately 24 hours to complete.

;Quick facts
Q (May 10, 2010): What does the 'Seduce' debuff actually do? I see mentions of it everywhere, but have no idea what it actually is.
*For every Weapon Attack you gain, the amount of damage gained from 1 STR goes up by about 0.02 (min) and 0.04 (max).
*A Warrior with over 2000 STR (Level 200) will have very low health (7,500-20,000).

Meso Explosion
Q (May 10, 2010): I'm starting as a pirate (Brawler) and they get the skill "Improving Max HP Increase" at second job, can i save my AP points form the first job to max my HP? (I'm plan to leech to that point obviously).
Q: "What are the damage calculations for meso explosion like if I drop 10 mesos how much damage would that do with a maxed meso explosion?"
:A: No, just like the first job advancement, all AP and SP must be spent before the second job can be achieved.

I took some samples of 10 meso coin explosions (1 coin), so it should give a small starting point i'll post more data as i figure it out
Q (May 10, 2010): When i am on the boats, people play games and these blue boxes appear above their head and it says in progress when someone joins. How can i make one of those appear above my head?
:A: Please see MapleStory/Quests/Mini-Games.

but so far it seems the constant is not a simple table lookup alone
Q (May 10, 2010): I was wondering if you are able to send items to your other characters?
:A: You can do that using the storage people in the towns, such as Mr. Hong in Kerning City.

These were recorded at level 12 ME (72% Mastery)
Q (May 10, 2010): I'm a warrior and accidentally dropped my charged attack on top of the hotkey for a regular attack. Now I can't attack regularly anymore. How do I get my regular attack back? I don't have enough MP to charge all the time.

Q: "What is the formula for avoidability? For example, since Slimes have 35 accuracy, how much avoidability is needed to avoid them 100%?"
:A: It depends on the item. Typically they are temporary or consumables (such as pet items or teleport rocks).

;Original research
A possible formula for accuracy (required ACC to hit a monster 100%) is:

(55 + (EnemyLevel - YourLevel)) x (EnemyAvoid / 15)

*Example: if you are a level 50 warrior fighting a level 60 monster with 10 avoidability...

((55 + (60-50)) x (10 / 15)) = 43 (43.33 repeating).

Can I choose another character without quitting the game and logging in again?
No. You must go to "Quit Game" and then log in again to change characters/servers.

What should I do about disconnections?
You should:
# Restart MS or computer
# Stop any P2P programs or downloads
# Wait a while and try again.
# Check your internet connection.

There are some areas in the game where hackers have actually been able to force anyone who logs in to immediately disconnect from the game. This happened once in the Sauna area in Sleepywood*. The best way to escape the map in this situation is to cause as much lag on purpose; and then walk out of the portal while you are in the lag.

For example, start downloading 20 YouTube videos at once, or turn on BitTorrent at a max upload rate, or do both. Then hold down the quest button as you walk out of the Sauna. Another possible solution is to connect using an old modem, or a dial-up modem. You should disconnect one last time, and you'll be able to play again.

The Sleepywood Sauna is the only verified place where this has occurred. There is no known solutions for any other area in MapleStory.

*A hacker used a special sort of vac-hack to pull all of the NPC's in the game to that location, so that when a user walked in, they disconnected, or DC'ed. This hacker also did it in other areas, too. He announced what areas would be "disconnection hotspots". These places are usually small, and were places that sold items like weapon shops.

Resetting when you crash helps clear the RAM so you won't disconnect again as soon.

Thailand residents can play both MapleStory SEA and MapleStory Thailand. Many versions feature IP blocking, like MapleEurope encouraging people to play their localized version.

All versions (except for KMS) feature IP blocking, it encourages people to play their localized version and to prevent them from causing the company operating MapleStory in that reigon to violate their license. KMS requires proof that you are a legal South Korean and that you are actually living in Korea. Before a law was passed, Nexon Korea required that you used your Korean Social Security Number before registering with Nexon Korea and MapleStory Korea.

Maple Story Doesn't Work/Doesn't Run Smoothly...
*Check the system requirements.
*The system requirements listed are minimum requirements. Minimum requirements are only enough to get the program running. For better performance, get a system that at least doubles the requirements.
*Close all other programs.
*Run virus scans and check for spyware, adware, and other programs that secretly run in the background.
*Occasionally, Maple Story is updated. This means download the latest version or patch, and wait for the update to finish.
~One more thing... though it has already been mentioned. After a while your RAM memory fills with loaded screens, character info etc... if you find yourself disconnecting or lagging heavily try shutting down the computer to empty the RAM, then reboot it. That usually helps.

Will all the versions of MapleStory eventually have the same features?
Eventually they should have very comparable features. For example, they should all eventually get most of the same content like fourth jobs, the party/guild quests, and the new locations. However, some things will remain specific to a few versions, like Pachinko in JMS or Premium Road. It's just a matter of waiting to see what comes out.

No one said you have to restart. What it meant was that the world was overpopulated, so it didn’t want you to make a new character. Then it wanted to know if you wanted to go back to the beginning of the program, or turn off the program. You don’t have to restart your character.

No, however it is necessary to kill a monster to allow for a boss to spawn, because maps have a limit as to how many monsters can be there at one time. Killing a monster will empty a space and allow the boss monster to spawn, however it doesn't matter whether it is an Iron Hog or Fierry.

The Mushmom spawns once at 45 minutes. If you cannot find it on one channel, try other channels. If you don't see it, someone else might have killed it and it needs another 45 minutes of time to respawn.
NOTE - In the Big Bang Mushmom's level became 15.

No. Any skill points you gain in the first job (before level 30) MUST be used before the second job. The same is true of second job points (before level 70) on Third job skills, and so on. It is okay to use second job points for the first job, but this is generally not recommended. Beginner skill points can only be assigned to beginner skills. Ludibrium maze pq(lvls 50-70) is a great way to make money. All of the usable items you receive can be sold to npcs(in this case, the non-player characters who sells stuff) for a lot. After about five party quests, the party leader might tell you to npc.
And a great way is to sell things, like weapons that you don't want/need, or faming someone. If you are faming someone, you can fame them from 25,000-100,000. Note: There are scammers who do not give you the money afterward.

You can make money by a few quests. For example, a quest called "Subany's Legacy" (For Lv.36 and in NLC) will reward you with a scroll which you can sell for 8 million ~ 11 million mesos.

After all, the best way to make money is Noob-Trading. Noob-Trading, means to buy something for a low price and to sell it for a high price. Example: I buy a GFA 60% for 3mil. I can sell it for 9mil and my revenue will be 6mil.

Is xxx skill good?
Check out the Jobs section with your specific job for the answer. A number of skills are considered useless irrespective of the build used and are only necessary if they are prerequisites for other, more powerful skills. Those skills are listed here.
Mage
* Magic Armor (not to be confused with the skill "Magic Guard")
:Magic Armor removes at most 30 or so damage. If fighting Yetis at level 50, It won't matter that they do 470 damage to you instead of 500. It is generally not recommended to add points into Magic Armor.
* Energy Bolt
:Energy Bolt is good if you want a skill to knockback enemies. Magic Claw out damages Energy Bolt any time, but doesn't knockback most of the time, due to the fact that the damage is split into two hits.
:Note that most monsters that you'll be fighting with Energy Bolt will have a KB of 1, making Magic Claw more effective in about every case imaginable.
* Poison Brace (second job, Fire/Poison Wizard)
:It is weak, and the poison doesn't last long enough to warrant use. However, there are poison mages that like going against the crowd. Given the fact that Poison Mist and Magic Composition (both third-job skills) are more effective Poison-based spells, one would wonder why Poison Brace even exists. A maxed Poison Brace can do around 347 to 578 damage plus, if poisoned, 70 HP or 1/40 HP damage, whichever is greater. If the enemy has roughly 3000+ HP the Poison will hit for 1/40 HP doing 75+ damage over time. This can allow Fire Wizards to hunt fire creatures they normally would not be able to, such as Fire Boars or other Fire-based monsters. Some creatures that are weak to poison give good EXP. It is recommended, however, that only advanced Fire Wizards should consider maxing Poison Brace after Fire Arrow has been maxed.
Bowman
*Blessing of Amazon
: Bowmen have the best accuracy in the game, and can generally hit monsters before they can even break that monster's armor. The only exception is Jr. Neckis in the beginning of the game. However, getting a skill for a single monster is a bad plan, especially when you gain enough accuracy to kill Jr. Neckis efficiently by level 28 or so.
Warrior
*Improving Hp Recovery
:Due to the chair that recovers 50 Hp per 10 seconds, this should either be left at 5 or maxed
*Endure
:Recover while hanging on a rope. Quite useless since you'll be using potions to get HP. With 4000 HP at Level 60 it would take a long time to recover your total health. Besides, the best option to recover health while being idle is to sit down somewhere. Only put the required 3 points into endure so you can put some points into Iron Body.
*Iron Body
:This skill can be handy at lower levels but around Level 60 it loses its value because of the much more powerful power guard skill. The main and only reason to have Iron body is to negate the weapon defense penalty of Rage. Theoretically you could do with only 1 point in Iron body to undo the -10 wdef effect of Rage. There are some builds online that suggest maxing Iron body and only putting 6 points into sword/axe booster. This isn't really recommended as with a duration of 60 seconds the recasting can become really annoying. Instead, maxing booster and maxing out Rage is better, since Rage and Iron body are casted at the same time this will make recasting easier and less annoying. Also consider this: having 16 versus 40 weapon defense doesn't really do a lot for the damage you take. A tauromaci touch would be around for example 450 versus 500 damages. However if you have maxed Power Guard (which is very likely) it will reflect 40 % of the damage so you only take 300 out of a total of 500.
*Shield Mastery
Third job Crusader and Page skills, warriors already have huge weapon defense, and Shield Mastery barely increases it. Also it limits the player to one handed weapons.
Warriors still get some of these skills because there are too many first job points. It is recommended you get at least 1 SP in Endure and some HP Recovery to help at areas such as El Nath or Underwater maps where the area slowly drains your HP, but there are not enough points to max any of these skills.
Thief
*Disorder
:It has been quite a debate between many maplers about the "Which is better, disorder or dark sight?". Disorder will not be often used when you are training and mostly only when fighting boss monsters and such. Dark sight, however, is used when you want to pass a map without being disturbed by monsters or when you ran out of potions and only have a little bit of hp left, you will die easily. This is where dark sight comes in to prevent yourself from dying. I feel that both skills are useful and you will have to choose one to add in 1st job advancement and maybe the other in the late 2nd job advancement. Dark sight is also required for the Ludibrium Party Quest, where only a thief with Dark Sight can get past two certain invincible monsters.
*Shield Mastery 3rd job, Bandit. Gets you about 10 extra weapon defense points assuming the best shield for a Thief, which will block about 4 damage from the enemy. Fairly worthless.
*Steal
: Steal is more of a "fun" ability as it’s not to be used seriously. It CAN help to get something good, but it doesn't happen often. It may be useful in the Ludibrium PQ so you can get extra passes, however this glitch was patched.
*Endure
-For assasins, 3 points are required in this before you are allowed to aquire Drain, but higher than 3 points is useless. For one, not many people spend time healing, when you could instead use a potion, or *gasp* drain, the very skill you needed 3 points in endure for. Why would you max a skill that requires you to wait to recover HP, when you can instead max a skill that heals you and damages a monster at the same time?

You will only train at a reasonable pace if you consistently use your skills. Never use a "regular" attack for any class after level 25, and if you're an assassin or mage you will probably need to use skills WAY before that. To keep up the pace of your mana-consumption, you must buy potions to consistently up your mana. By level 35 mages should hold AT LEAST 60 mana potions so they don't have to go back and forth to buy more.

100 Solid horns can be exchanged at the Exchange Quest for 500 experience. While this is not much at higher levels, you can bring a level 10 player into the Exchange Quest and constantly get around 500 exp for every 100 horns. Zombie's Lost Teeth, Jr. Yeti Skins, and Hector Tails are also popular choices, as they provide better rewards than Solid Horns. Though being more expensive, in these cases most people will hunt the items themselves. Zombie Teeth also have a relatively high supply due to the sheer number of players that train on Coolie Zombies for a large number of levels (60-80 for most classes).

Assassins can do this much easier. For archers, this is answered in the Archer guides here. Magicians use the same technique, except with their spells. Magicians can also attack and teleport at the same time, and it is the same technique again, except using teleport instead of jump. But since they CANNOT jump and attack at the same time...it is possible to hit the JUMP and *insert special attack here* keys, it will make it look like that your character is "charging up" before he hits the ground. When doing an attack normally, your character is unable to move for a short period of time until the attack animation is complete. With the jump shot, you are able to move while performing the attack. However the arrow/spell acts as if it were shot/cast while on the ground.

How long will it take to get [certain starting ability point allocation]?
In general, it is more likely to generate evenly distributed ability points (e.g. STR6 DEX6 INT7 LUK6) than skewed ability points (e.g. STR4 DEX13 INT4 LUK4). The total ability points is 25, and the minimum for any ability is 4. The maximum for an ability is 13, though that is rare (see below).
The way starting abilities are generated: (Not verified, though seems to be a good approximation)
# All abilities are set equal to 4.
# Randomly choose STR, DEX, INT, or LUK and add one point to that ability.
# Repeat until STR + DEX + INT + LUK = 25.
The table below shows approximately how long it will take to generate certain ability point distributions. These times are approximate and actual results may vary. One person may get a certain distribution within 1 minute whereas another person will take 10 minutes, depending on clicking speed and pure luck.

Then, he tells you to type "copy". The "O" button is a keyboard navigation hotkey that automatically clicks "OK" and accepts the trade. Because you accepted the trade, the scammer gets away with your money and/or items.
#Fast Trade: a person is buying an overpriced item (e.g. a steely for 11 million mesos or an ilbi for 22million mesos). When you trade them, they show you the money, then tell you to put your item on. They trade, then cancel immediately. Because it failed, they trade you again over and over until you get tired of looking at the screen so that you trading without thinking. Once they think that you have lost interest in not being scammed (when you no longer check the amount of money they put up), they try to put a much lower value in (i.e. only about 1,100,000 if the item(s) price was 11,000,000). Never buy or sell anything that you know is overpriced. This scam is all around the Free Market in GMS (possibly other versions), usually for items like PAC, SCG, and Gachapon items that include ATT stats.

You will always get skill points after your job advancement. You need to use all the skill points earned at level 30 and below before you can take the test. If you go over 30 before taking the test you still get the skill points and they do not have to be used. They can be held over until after the job advancement. You may use points obtained in 2nd job/3rd job on first job skills, to do that you click the skill book and apply, however, it is not recommended to do this.

Many new players become disoriented after they teleport to Ariant through Chumji's quest, prior to level 30. If you took the Genie from Orbis, you already know that there is transportation available. You can find the Ariant Genie station's portal from the main zone of Ariant (with Maple Administrator and the town exits); it is located on the left portion of the map. Alternatively, you can teleport straight to Victoria Island by speaking with Karcasa (two maps right of Ariant) and spending for 10,000 mesos.

Ores and Jewels are refined and used to synthesize equipment, usually gloves and boots. However, since most class gloves are not used and both gloves and boots are widely available in the free market, they are pretty much useless now. The only ores and jewels really worth keeping are Dark Crystal and Black Crystal. Other jewels have some purpose in quests, but for the most part you should just sell them to the shop NPCs. Cards and Omok pieces can be taken to the Game zone in Henesys (near Athena Pierce's tree) where you can trade them in for Minigame rooms. You can set these up in most places to play a game of Match Cards or Omok with people.

What is a Banditsin?
A Banditsin (also known as a Sindit) is a bandit that uses Lucky 7 in 1st job, and then turns into a Bandit 2nd job. Lucky 7 is a much better skill than Double Stab, as it is ranged, has innate mastery and does more damage. While this is more expensive than the typical Bandit build, it is much faster if you got the money to burn. But it may cause financial problems after you make the 2nd job advancement.

One problem with Sindits is that because they cannot use Double Stab, they have to waste more MP with Savage Blow or otherwise save MP using regular attack. Also, some Sindits choose to continue using claws regularly after their 2nd job advancement, though often on weaker monsters. Once there are enough points on Savage Blow and Dagger Mastery, sindits will usually make the switch to daggers. 3rd job sindits will usually be identical with regular Chief Bandits. The only difference between a Bandit and a Sindit is that the latter won't have Double Stab. Considering that Savage Blow will be more effective than Double Stab past Level 45, and that the AP build doesn't change, it can be concluded that Sindits are just as powerful as Bandits.

It depends on the w. atk of your claw. But the calculations are

*(Minimum Damage for 1 Throwing Star) - [((2.5*LUK)/100)*Weapon Attack)*Damage Percentage]

This has been answered here in the Archer section completely.

* Arrow Blow does more damage in one shot. It has a better chance of KBing a monster.

I have a first job gunslinger and I use up pots like crazy. I am unfunded and on a new world where the economy doesn't even exist yet. What should I do to save pots, gain money, or gain more pots quickly?
Don't spam Double Shot. If you can get to a safe platform, just use a normal attack. While it is a lot slower than double shot, you won't use up any MP. Also, don't use Dash unless you really need the speed/jump boost as that can burn MP as well.
Doing the quests in Nautilus, especially the ones from Kyrin, will get you a heap of pots that will last you into late 1x. By then, you should be able to afford the potions you need, assuming you're training in the right places.
