Wikification required: convert to table

  • Range: How far the projectile can travel.
  • Accuracy: The higher the more accurate, 1 being 100% accurate.
  • Lethality: The chance of killing the target if struck. Cannon balls and stones flung by artillery can bounce and hit more men.
  • Power: How many hitpoints of damage it does to the target on a lethal hit. Average soldiers have 1 hitpoint, but generals, nobles with warrior virtues, princes, monarchs and berserkers have more than 1. Mainly used to calculate how much damage is done to buildings. Most artillery has a blast radius which represents splash damage. Soldiers inside the blast radius have a 25% chance of being killed.
  • Armor piercing: Armor protects against missile fire, armor piercing missiles reduce the protection. An armored target with level 4 armor only has 2 armor against weapons with 50% armor piercing, for example.
  • Reload time: For units it is expressed in frames, 14 frames is about 1 second.

Short Bow

The most basic and common missile. Used by archers the world over.

Long Bow

  • Range: 120 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.6
  • Lethality: 12%
  • Power: 1
  • Armor Piercing: 50%
  • Reload Time: 4 frames

An improved shortbow. Longer range and armor piercing. Used by Longbowmen and some elite ambush units like sherwood foresters.

Mounted Bow

  • Range: 100 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.55
  • Lethality: 12%
  • Power: 1
  • Armor Piercing: 0%
  • Reload Time: 4 frames

The bow most mounted archers use. The same as a shortbow except slightly less accurate. It has, however, the same range contrary to popular opinion.

Crossbow

  • Range: 100 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.7
  • Lethality: 18%
  • Power: 2
  • Armor Piercing: 60%
  • Reload Time: 15 frames (can reload and fire later)

Crossbows provide a more powerful shot than regular bows. More accurate, does more damage and pierces armor. It does take longer to reload, however.

Arbalest

  • Range: 120 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.75
  • Lethality: 23%
  • Power: 3
  • Armor Piercing: 70%
  • Reload Time: 15 frames (can reload and fire later)

Arbalests are better in every way than normal crossbows. Longer range, more accurate, deadlier and pierces armor better.

Javelin

  • Range: 30 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.15
  • Lethality: 36%
  • Power: 2
  • Armor Piercing: 70%
  • Reload Time: 3 frames

Javelins are used by skirmishers. Their poor accuracy is not much of a problem since they have to fire from such a short range. Very damaging to highly armored units.

Grenade

  • Range: 26 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.03
  • Lethality: 100%
  • Power: 6
  • Armor Piercing: 100%
  • Reload Time: 6 frames

The grenade of a Naptha thrower is very deadly and short ranged.

Hand Gun

  • Range: 40 meters

  • Armor Piercing: 98.5%
  • Reload Time: 30 frames (can reload and fire later)

Handguns can be very deadly but have a long reload time, short range and are not very accurate. However, as an added bonus, they cause fear.

Arquebus

  • Range: 80 meters

  • Lethality: 72%
  • Power: 4
  • Armor Piercing: 98.5%
  • Reload Time: 30 frames (can reload and fire later)

An improved Handgun. Has almost the same range as a shortbow, but good luck hitting anything at that range.

Ballista

  • Range: 200 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.9
  • Lethality: 100%
  • Power: 40
  • Armor Piercing: 100%
  • Reload Time: 11 seconds (can reload and fire later)

Ballistae have double the range of archers and are highly accurate. Can only kill one man at a time, however, and does only slight damage to buildings.

Catapult

  • Range: 240 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.6
  • Lethality: 100% (bounces on impact)
  • Power: 80 (2 meter blast radius)
  • Armor Piercing: 100%
  • Reload Time: 16 seconds (can reload and fire later)

Catapults have a slightly higher range but are much less accurate. They fire rocks which bounce and can kill several men at a time. Does double the damage to buildings as a Balista, if it can hit it.

Trebuchet

  • Range: 240 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.6
  • Lethality: 100% (bounces on impact)
  • Power: 150 (2 meter blast radius)
  • Armor Piercing: 100%
  • Reload Time: 20 seconds (can reload and fire later)

An improved catapult with more power and the same dodgy accuracy.

Mangonel

  • Range: 240 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.6
  • Lethality: 100% (bounces on impact)
  • Power: 250 (2.5 meter blast radius)
  • Armor Piercing: 100%
  • Reload Time: 20 seconds (can reload and fire later)

The same as a Trebuchet, just does more damage.

Mortar

  • Range: 240 meters
  • Accuracy: 0.6
  • Lethality: 100%
  • Power: 100 (2.5 meter blast radius)
  • Armor Piercing: 100%
  • Reload Time: 14 seconds (can reload and fire later)

The most powerful and longest range attack available. Fairly accurate as well.

Serpentine
