==Boss Battle: Skarmory==
This is the very first boss you have to fight. Bosses are stronger than the Pokémon faced earlier in their dungeon so be prepared. Begin the battle with any stat increasing or lowering attacks and use what damaging moves are still available.
This is the very first boss you have fought yet, and will undoubtedly be the toughest foe you have faced yet. Since his type is Steel/Flying, Cyndaquil, Charmander, and Torchic will have it much easier than the rest. If you picked a Grass type, you had better have a strong Fire type team mate to deal out the damage.

Since his type is Steel/Flying, Cyndaquil, Charmander, Pikachu and Torchic will have it much easier than the rest. If you picked a Grass type, then don't use any grass moves on Skarmory.

==After the battle==
After Skarmory is defeated, he will fly off. When you and your partner go to rescue Diglett, it becomes apparent that the way is blocked by a cliff. The two Magnemite you helped out earlier show up and help Diglett down.

Once everyone returns to headquarters Diglett's father Dugtrio shows up to thank the team and Magnemites.

As the Magnemites begin to leave your partner stops them with an offer to join the rescue team. They like the offer but have to decline because there is nowhere close by to live.

After Skarmory falls, he will fly off, giving you access to the Diglett. After saving it, you will warp back out of the dungeon, and meet the greatly relieved friends.
It is agreed that tomorrow the team will go to Wigglytuff Club in Pokémon Square to learn about [[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team/Friend Areas|friend areas.]]
