One of Squaresoft's final RPGs for the PlayStation console, SaGa Frontier 2 was the second game in the series to be sold in North America using the SaGa name.
The game features traditional 2D hand-painted watercolor sprites and two separate story lines spanning three generations. It also features use of the PocketStation accessory, though the accessory was not released in the US (fortunately it is not needed to complete the game).
