Soulcalibur III is a fighting game which was initially released by Namco for the Sony PlayStation 2 in the United States on October 25, 2005, and later also in the European Union, Japan and Australia on November 18, November 23, and November 24 of that same year respectively; despite its name, it is the fourth title in their Soulcalibur series, and features four new characters.
