Star Fox: Assault is the second Nintendo GameCube entry in the Star Fox series. It was released in North America on February 14, 2005 for the GameCube. However, it was available for rental starting on February 1 as a promotion. It is co-developed by Namco and returned to the series' space-combat roots after Star Fox Adventures, although many on-foot missions still remain.
