StrategyWiki:Collaboration of the Month

From StrategyWiki, the video game walkthrough and strategy guide wiki
Current Collaboration of the Month

Every month, a Collaboration of the Month will be selected at our monthly meeting by using this page. Using cooperative editing, the aim of the collaboration is to complete a major task or greatly improve an article by the end of the month. A list of former collaborations can be found in the archive.

How to nominate

Anyone may nominate a collaboration. To nominate an article or task, click this link and fill in the Article name and the Comments section.

Collaboration selection

Please feel free to support as many candidates as you like; any registered user may support an article. Under the Support section of a nomination, just add your signature to the bottom of the ordered list, like so: # ~~~~. Additionally, you may leave a comment under the Comments section explaining why you do or do not support the nomination.

Collaboration of the Month nominations are evaluated at the end of every month at the StrategyWiki meeting on IRC. The nomination with the greatest number of supporters is chosen. In the case of a tie, the earliest nomination is chosen. Nominations will be removed after being selected. Nominations will be kept on the page for six months from the last support. After a nomination has been removed, feel free to re-nominate it at any time.

At the end of this month, nominations can be removed if supported before December 1, 2023.

  • Since DC Comics is about to reboot with DCnU, we could show some support. I know some people might think this is too broad, but it's giving others the choice to choose which DC superhero they might want to work on rather than one specific hero. Here is a list I know it's not as long as the Marvel one or as diverse, but hey theres other things on that list besides Batman and Superman. — ThatLuciano 16:47, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
  • I do think it might be a bit too broad. I think picking a collaboration with more than 3 or 4 games may be too many to focus people. -- Prod (Talk) 17:59, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
  • A broad topic isn't all bad. I think it lets people participate in the collaboration more than a specific game would. --WarioTalk 07:36, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

  • The reason I want to try again because this game is gaining more traction. A brief history: GoldenEye 007 by Rare and Nintendo is successful on the N64. Because of the licence and current star change, the Wii and the DS has a remade version starring David Craig and is done by Activision and Eurocom. This year, it now came under the title "GoldenEye 007 Reloaded" which is similar to the Wii version without the trial but has updated graphics and even more features available to Xbox360 and PS3 with the Move motion addition. Anyway, this guide has the potential and has enough meat for anyone who likes to work on this. What I forgot to add is there's also a DS version as well so please consider building content for the handheld as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

  • It's the newest Zelda game, and Zelda is always a good thing. — ThatLuciano 17:25, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
