| | Since the DS images are not yet complete (I'm not even sure if they've been started on) I was wondering if I should use the generic ones as placeholders. Then again, I don't even know how to insert images.... *sigh* to the sandbox I go. --RovingRoflguy 14:44, 1 August 2006 (AEST) |

| It would be good if we had links to videos. I added a life-glitch in the secret section and a link to a video showing it. Hopefully I would upload a new video that has better quality. It would be good if there were videos that showed the enemy in action (with the music so the player can react in time).--Emaj 19:31, 5 September 2006 (CDT)
| | : Leave it for now. If you put generic images in, you're only going to have to do the same work again when the DS images are complete. ;-) Regardless, you should be using the controller button templates to put button images in, and not using the images directly. --DrBob (Talk) 05:24, 2 August 2006 (CDT) |

| :: For now, just put a plain link to a video hosted elsewhere (such as on YouTube). We can import them once we've got the video stuff set up. --DrBob (Talk) 01:02, 6 September 2006 (CDT)
| | Would like to add a little something to the enemies section, Something which is apparent in the game is the enemies reaction to different beats in the music ( at a change in beat, goombas jump slightly and red/green goombas turn around for a split second). its worth including as it can cause you to lose a life if you are carelees around enemies. Anyone think its worth adding? |

| I'm working on it. I've finished World 1 and I'm halfway through World 2 (in one afternoon). I know I'll have tons of time next weekend as well, but I'm going to try working on it some more this week as well. --Elensar 15:31, 11 March 2007 (CDT)
| |
| :I've finished World 2 and almost half of World 3, but I got to thinking. Should I try to order the levels in each world by chronology, or category? (1,2,a,3,tower,4,b,5,castle or 1,2,3,4,5,tower,castle,a,b). Also, not sure if its okay, but I removed the talk about the DS control pics and the change in beat making the goombas and koopas react, since they've been put in already. --Elensar 19:42, 11 March 2007 (CDT)
| |
| ::Whichever way you believe is easier for a user, though my guess would be by chronology (unless there's a lot of jumping between worlds or something). About removing previous discussions, usually you move them to an archive page (check the Community portal for an example), but if it's minor deletion should be fine. -- Prod (Talk) 19:47, 11 March 2007 (CDT)

| :::I did ordered the levels in each world by their horizontal placement on the world map. If they are aligned with each other, # is before letter is before pipe/cannon. I'm done with Worlds 1-4 and halfway through World 5 now. I'll get the rest of World tomorrow hopefully (i've already got it on paper). I'll keep working till I finish. Afterwards, I'll add to the Enemies section (maybe make a separate page) and go over the control, make sure we have everything (swinging on ropes, climbing,....) | |
| :::Another update. I through World 5 and about halfway with World 6. I'm using the phrase "hit the flagpole" instead of "finish the level." (I'll go back and change World 1-5). When I'm done writing all eight worlds, I'll start another file and beat the game using only the walkthrough so as to make sure it works. EElensar 19:28, 21 March 2007 (CDT)

| == Main page ==
| |
| | |
| I'm changing the main page to overviews of each mode of gameplay since I made minigames and Vs their own separate pages. I'm also moving the 99 lives secret to the Cheats page.
| |
| :The main page should tell briefly (in maybe four or five sentences) about gameplay modes in the opening paragraph(s). Content-wise, the main page shouldn't have any information that would fit into an actual guide page. Therefore, I recommend that you move the stuff under the table of contents into their respective pages, and then remove them from the main page. --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 16:40, 11 March 2007 (CDT)
| |
| ::That's what I just did, and thanks for changing the Table of Contents. I didn't think of making it nicer. Do you think anyone else is still editing this guide? Elensar 16:48, 11 March 2007 (CDT)
| |
| :::Doesn't look like anybody is making any content additions to the guide but you right now, as as for the ToC, I'd say chronological order would be best (even though there is some flexibility in the order levels are visited, there isn't much). I just might break down and help on this guide too, but I'm too busy with Fire Emblem, Sword of Mana, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess at the moment. --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 20:39, 11 March 2007 (CDT)
