The Tone Rebellion is a Real Time Strategy computer game released by Logic Factory in 1997. Players control a tribe of "floaters," strange blob-like creatures with tentacles instead of arms who levitate above the ground. These floaters must do battle with the Leviathan, a remorseless enemy that infects the land with strange growths and spawns monsters that defend these growts and attack the floaters. The objective of the game is to destroy the leviathan, while the leviathan wins if it manages to exterminate the player's floaters.
A multiplayer mode exists; in this mode the players can cooperate against the Leviathan or turn on one another. It is worth noting though that some co-operation between players is required since the Leviathan is a threat to all players, and meanwhile the players begin the game at some distance from one another and need to advance in orer to encounter each other directly.
