This first mission is a tutorial that should give you all of the information necessary to play the game.
Level 1[edit]
- Enter player name.
- Arrive at Boot Domain.
After the introductory dialog you will find yourself in a Domain for your first mission. This is when the game finally will give the player control over their character. Boot Domain Should be easy to get through since you are using Zudokorn's Digi-Beetle and 3 of his Digimon. The 2 battles in this Domain should give you a good opportunity to experiment and learn how the different attacks and battle work. Zudokorn will explain various aspects of the game as you both travel through the Domain.
Level 2[edit]
- Follow the path and fight the Wild Digimon.
- At the dead end will be an Exit Portal. Enter it to go to the final level.
- Follow the path until you reach Leomon. This will automatically cause a dialog and battle will begin.
- Enemy Digimon: Veedramon, Leomon, ToyAgumon.
- Zudokorn's Digimon are overpowered for this battle. It should be an easy win. If anything goes wrong, be sure to use Lilymon's healing technique. Each opponent will die in about 2-3 hits.
- Automatically return to town.
Once you arrive at town you will have your first opportunity to explore Digital City. Go to either Black Sword, Gold Hawk, or Blue Falcon to join a Guard Team and get your first Digimon. The 3 Teams each specialize in a specific Digimon type. Here are the main differences between the groups.

If you are uncertain of which team to choose, you should visit each base. The story and game are practically the same for all 3 teams.
