The overhead view of the Monacan track.

The Monacan track is located in the bottom-left of the track selection screen, so if you are using MAME to play the game but have not held "9" and pressed "F2" to calibrate the steering, you will not be able to select it; its timer will start at 75 seconds.

When that counter appears on the screen and is counting down from "03" to "00", you should be in low gear with the gas pedal fully down; as you are accelerating away from that starting line, and pass six trees (which have five barriers in front of them) on the right side of the track before passing under a bridge for Magneti Marelli, you should shift into high gear at about 100 km/h. You will then have to turn to the right as you pass a billboard which has an arrow pointing to the north-east on it upon the left side of the track, before passing under another bridge for Goodyear - and you will then pass a yellow crane (which has four more barriers for BP in front of it) on that left side of the track before passing under a third bridge for Mobil 1. You will now have to turn to the left as you pass seven blocks of flats on the left side of the track, three palm trees (which have five chain-link fences in front of them) on the right side of the track, fifteen more blocks of flats on the left side of the track and six more palm trees on the right side of the track; you'll then pass five more chain-link fences on both sides of the track, a second yellow crane (which has four more barriers in front of it) on the right side of the track, four more blocks of flats on the right side of the track, and another billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-east on it upon the right side of the track, before passing under a third bridge for Shell. You will then have to turn to the right as you pass four more regular trees and a third billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-east on it on the left side of the track, along with two more cranes (one red and a third yellow, but both have stacks of red and white tyres in front of them) on both sides of the track - and you will now pass six more palm trees and a fourth billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-east on it on the left side of the track, along with a fifth regular tree on that right side of the track. You will then have to turn to the right as you pass ten more chain-link fences on both sides of the track (as the five that are on the right side of the track also have a sixteenth palm tree behind them), along with a second red crane (which has five more barriers in front of it) on the right side of the track; you will then have to turn to the right as you pass a fifth billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-east on it on the right side of the track. You will then pass twenty-two more blocks of flats on the right side of the track, a grandstand and five more barriers for Magneti Marelli (which has already appeared on a bridge on this track) on the left side of the track, a fourth yellow crane (which has three more barriers for BP in front of it) and seven more regular trees on the right side of the track, six more palm trees on the left side of the track, and ten more regular trees on the right side of the track before passing under a fourth bridge for Pirelli - and you will then have to turn to the left, as you pass a sixth billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-west on it and two more palm trees (which have eight more barriers in front of them) upon the right side of the track, along with two more billboards which have an arrow pointing to the zigzagging north-west on them upon both sides of the track, and another grandstand on the right side of the track. You will now have to turn to the right as you pass a fifth yellow crane (which has eight more barriers in front of it) upon that left side of the track, and two more billboards with an arrow pointing to the zigzagging north-east on them upon both sides of the track; you'll then have to turn to the left, as you pass six more blocks of flats and an eleventh billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-west on it on the right side of the track, before passing under a fifth bridge for Mobil 1 (the second one on this track). You will then have to turn to the right, as you pass four more regular trees (which have stacks of red and white tyres in front of them, but also have four flagpoles behind them) on the right side of the track, and a twelfth billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-east on it upon that left side of the track (which also has stacks of red and white tyres in front of it) - and you'll then pass a thirteenth billboard for Boss Men's Fashion on the left side of the track, two more regular trees on the left side of the track, a fourteenth billboard for Ford on the left side of the track, two more regular trees on the left side of the track, a fifteenth billboard with an arrow pointing to the north-east on it upon the left side of the track, and six more barriers (four of them are for Magneti Marelli, and this makes its third appearance on the track) on the left side of the track. You will then pass a third grandstand on the left side of the track, five more regular trees on the right side of the track, six last blocks of flats on the left side of the track, and viewing staircase for Agip on the right side of the track; and as with the Japanese and Italian tracks, once you have completed a full lap of the track, that text "TIME EXTENDED LAP TIME XX.XX" will flash up on the screen (once again, "XX.XX" being your lap time) and you'll gain 35 extra seconds of racing time to try and complete another lap. Once you have completed four laps of the track, another woman will wave her chequered flag in front of your car as it races off into the distance and the text "OFFICIAL RESULT" will then appear upon the screen as your position (1st-8th) is displayed below it - and your distance travelled (in metres), your number of laps, your fastest lap time and your ranking will then be displayed below that. If your total time was less than 2:43:44 (which is less than the minimal total time of 2:47:81 for the Japan track, but not quite as low as the minimal total time of 2:32:00 for the Italy track), the game will go into "best-time" mode, so you should enter your initials (only up to three characters) on the Monacan table with pride; once you have done so, the game will go back into attract mode.
