Controls[edit]

  • Handlebars: Use the handlebars to steer your ATV (all-terrain vehicle) left and right just as you would any real ATV; if you are using MAME to play this game (which you almost certainly will be unless you are a native inhabitant of the "Land of the Rising Sun"), the equivalent of the handlebars is obviously the left and right arrow keys. You can also adjust the speed and sensitivity for your virtual handlebars, under the "Analog Controls" menu.
  • Gas Pedal: You will have to step on the gas pedal to accelerate your ATV; in MAME, the equivalent of the gas pedal is the left Ctrl key (by default).
  • Break Pedal: You'll also step on the break pedal to decelerate your ATV; in MAME, the equivalent of the break pedal is the left Alt key (by default).
  • Gear Shifter: Use the gear shifter to change the gear that your ATV is driving in from "LOW" to "HIGH"; in MAME, the equivalent of the gear shifter is the space bar (by default). Now that you have learned all the game's controls it is time to familiarize yourself with the five different types of ATVs.

Characters[edit]

Player Bikes (プレイヤーバイクス)[edit]

FX 1P Bike.gif FX 2P Bike.gif FX 3P Bike.gif FX 4P Bike.gif From left to right: Player 1 (red), Player 2 (white), Player 3 (yellow) and Player 4 (green); the other four positions in the race will be filled by four blue CPU-controlled bikes (see the section below). Unlike in Final Lap, up to six or eight players cannot play the game simultaneously.

CPU Bikes (シーピーユーバイクス)[edit]

FX CPU Bike.gif If one player happens to be playing the game alone, then his position in the race will never change from 1/1, regardless of how many of these blue CPU-controlled bikes he passes; but if two, three, or four players are playing, and any of the other players are ahead of the first player in the race at any time, the first player's position will be 2/2, 3/3, or 4/4. Now that you have familiarized yourself with all five bikes, it is time to move on to the Walkthrough.
