Notes[edit]

From the start, you can choose between the path to the right or to the left. The path to the right will lead you to the coin, and is the better choice. Unlike most enemies you have faced, the bullets that are fired by the Pokey are more dangerous than their touch, so be sure to avoid them. Only the castle remains after this area. When you finish here, you will have the final set of three coins which will allow you to purchase the last upgrade item, setting your defense and offense levels at their highest possible. It will certainly come in handy when you enter the castle.

The stairs as location A will send you into a very long and extended region of the underground, but ultimately, you will not find anything of value since you cannot use the staircase at the end to enter the castle unless you have the completed key, and even if you do climb the steps, you will enter a closed off and isolated region of the castle, so avoid it entirely.
