MB 4th Day Intro.png

At the start of this day, you shall have fifteen seconds to choose which event you want to play as the game selects them in the order Deep Diver, Block Buster, Rapid Jump; press any button when the one you want is highlighted, and do it quickly (or you might end up with one you did not intend to play).

Deep Diver (ディープダイバー)[edit]

Before this event, you'll be treated to a short cutscene featuring Michael, which explains that you'll have to press the second button to make your Numan swim downwards, then alternate pressing the first and third buttons when oxygen is low to swim back up to the surface (if your Numan should run out of oxygen, he, or she in the case of Makoto and Sophia, will drown); this event can also be very difficult to qualify for if you don't have the timing down yet.

Qualify: 610m0
Record: H.I, 650m0
Try: 2 times

Once your (and the second player's, or the randomly-generated CPU-controlled if there is only one or three players) Numan appear upon the screen and the arrows with the text "1P" and "2P" (or "CPU") have come down into view, from the top of the screen, they'll turn around and jump up onto the monkey bar behind them (hanging upside-down by their legs); the platforms they'd been standing on shall then recede off the left and right sides of the screen as four strobe lights come down into view from the top of the screen, and the text "Ready...Go!" will appear on the screen as they drop into the ocean below them. You shall now have to press the second button to make your Numan swim downwards as the Hiragana text Ato (あと) appears at the bottom of the screen, with the remaining distance that he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) needs to dive below it - and once you have dived 610m0, the text "TURN OK!" will appear on the screen. You'll then have to alternate pressing the first and third buttons to make your Numan turn around, and swim back up to the surface; once he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) makes it back up to the surface, the text "CLEAR!" shall appear on the screen and your Numan will show off for the crowd for a twelfth time. If your Numan dived more than 650m0, the text "WORLD RECORD" will appear on the screen, and you shall have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using the first and third buttons to select the letters, then pressing the second button to confirm your choice; if there are only one or two players the game will return to the day's intro screen, but if not it'll proceed to a second Deep Diver event before doing so. Also, if your Numan cannot make it back up to the surface before his (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) oxygen runs out, he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) shall drown and fall off the bottom of the screen as the text "FAULT!" appears on it and your attempt is counted as such.

Block Buster (ブロックバスター)[edit]

Before this event, you will be treated to a fifth short cutscene featuring Johnny, which explains that you will have to alternate pressing the first and third buttons to build up your Numan's power meter, then press the second button to make him (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) punch the lowest section of a fifteen-sectioned totem pole away; if you try to punch one away when your Numan's power meter is not full, it will only hurt his or her hand.

Qualify: 14.00
Record: T.O, 12.00
Try: 1 time

Once the camera scrolls down to your (and the second player's, or the randomly-generated CPU-controlled, if there is only one or three players) Numan on a stage, the number 14 will appear above the text "Ready...Go!", and start counting down; you shall then have to alternate pressing the first and third buttons (to build up your Numan's power meter), then press the second button to make him (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) punch the lowest section of a fifteen-sectioned totem pole away (however, if you try to punch one away, when your Numan's power meter isn't full, it will hurt his, or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia, hand). Once you have punched all fifteen sections of the totem pole away, your Numan will show off for the crowd for a thirteenth time - and, if your time was lower than 12.00, the text "WORLD RECORD" will appear on the screen, and you will have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using your first and third buttons to select the letters, then pressing the second button to confirm your choice. If there are only one or two players, the game will return to the day's intro screen, but if not it will proceed to a second Block Buster event before doing so; also, if your Numan can't punch all fifteen sections of his (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) totem pole away before the timer runs out the first section of the pole will land on them (and flatten them into a totem), and the text "FAULT!" shall come down into view from the top of the screen as your attempt is counted as such.

Rapid Jump (ラピッドジャンプ)[edit]

Before this event, you'll be treated to a sixth short cutscene, featuring Johnny, which explains that you will have to press the second button to jump from one platform that emerges from the lava to another; because they shall start to sink as soon as your Numan lands on them, you cannot rest for too long.

Qualify: 14.90
Record: J.K, 13.00
Try: 2 times

MB Rapid Jump.png

Once your Numan has reappeared, on the screen, he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) will take his (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) position on the first platform in the lava; the text "Ready...Go!" will then appear on the screen as the timer at the top of it starts. You will then have to use the second, button to jump from one platform that emerges from the lava to another - and the radar on that left side of the screen displays your Numan's current position. Once you've made it to the end, your time will fly into view from the right side of the screen, and your Numan will show off for the crowd for a fourteenth time if your time was lower than 14.90; if your time was lower than 13.00, the text "WORLD RECORD" will appear upon the screen, and you will have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using the first and third buttons to select the letters, then pressing the second button to confirm your choice. If there are only one or two players, the game will proceed to the last day after all three events are finished, but if not, it will proceed to a second Deep Diver event before doing so - and if you should stay on a platform for too long (because they start to sink as soon as your Numan lands on them), an enormous orange fish will emerge from the lava, and eat your Numan (no matter how desperately he, or she in the case of Makoto and Sophia, tries to hold its jaws open and stay alive) - and the text "FAULT!" will then come down into view from the top of the screen as the attempt is counted as such.
