Map of Frappe Snowland

Frappe Snowland is a three lap race.

Start off as usual with a rocket boost.

Go into a right facing MT - hold the MT with the rocketboost while in the position sliding closely to the snow at the right, and a tad after coming parallel to where you see the next curve is, release your mt aiming in that parallel position to the next curve

Follow immediately with two left facing MTs[edit]

Execute first MT as quickly and closely to the snow to the left as possible. For the second MT make so that when you flow and release your MT, it is in the straightest position of staying to the right of the lonely and deadly snowman, plus toward the next curve.

Another but a bit sharper left facing MT[edit]

Here you will want to time the MT around the curve by jumping into a MT, sliding with the beginning of the curve, executing it about two sections that the curve goes in. To finish the curve smoothly, space two hops around the curve with the kart at about the same intervals so that it sets the kart straight after the turn towards the next short MT.

Right facing MT; keep straight and small turn to the right[edit]

Just make a quick right facing MT and try to release to the area where it suddenly juts out straight for awhile, then when the road makes the tiny shift to the right, make a small turn just to the right and keep the kart straight for the next curve to the left. Or others have been known to make a hop to the small turn to the right instead of the tilt to the right, but personally I just do the turn...cause, you know, all the cool people do it ;)

Left facing MT and over the hill[edit]

Just the normal prepare, execute and release the MT as close to the left and release parallel where the road becomes straight. Now here when going over the hill, sometimes it has sudden and random urges to cause a little bump on your kart and slow your speed down, but I have found to minimze this outcome (for me) is that when driving up and over the hill I will have my kart facing just a tad left of the parallel line with the road.

Left facing MT and through the snowmen[edit]

The moment after hitting the ground from over the hill jump into your next MT, hold and release your MT after sliding up and as close as you can the hill to the left until you aim toward the snowmen. You will see the two snowmen to the farthest left, and just to the right is where you will be wanting to aim towards.

Left facing MT with a shroom up over the hill[edit]

Right as you pass the second snowman now continue in the same path but jump into a left facing MT, right when you meet offroad is where you will execute your shroom. While traveling up the hill at the diagonal; a bit below the point on the hill where you can safely fly off of the hill(not the area where you'll be considered ob and be replaced on the course) is where to release your MT. Also before flying off and after releasing the MT give the kart a tiny jut to the right to help straighten up and aim between the snowman and off-road area.

After landing, small hop to the right and left facing MT[edit]

Upon landing it is vital to not be tilting any direction with the kart, as I have experienced, that that will drastically increase your chance of bouncing after hitting the ground. After landing take a small hop to the right to set up another left facing MT around the curve to the left. And when releasing it have your target to be straight towards the next curve up yonder.

Right facing SSMT[edit]

After gliding a bit, just very quick SSMT following as close as the same path as possible from the last MT.

Alternate Strategy #1: Left facing SSMT[edit]

As when finishing the SSMT would be facing in the direction where you are heading might be a bit faster, but they're about equal I think.

Alternate Strategy #2: Left facing Bumping SSMT[edit]

Same as the left facing SSMT but bumping the wall to the right so for the theory that it will straighten you out faster and thus making it a bit faster than a normal SSMT. (I've thought about trying this but never have as bumping MTs and SSMTs can be very risky as a missed one can ruin a run.

Left facing MT with three hops[edit]

A little before reaching the curve jump into a left facing MT and release about where the second or third jut in the curve of the wall is. Then follow as close to the wall with about three equal space jumps. Note: Here in the closeness and spacing of your three hops here I think is one of the most important parts in reaching a GOD standard time.

Your third hop becomes a left facing MT around the following curve[edit]

Just as the curve ends aim and release you MT in the direction of the final curve.

Alternate Strategy: Use a Bumping MT on the left wall after the turn to straighten out faster[edit]

Instead of releasing your MT as normal take it into the wall a bit as a Bumping MT as it is therorized that doing this straightens out your kart faster and thus being a faster strat. (I did this in my run by accident as it's a quite risky manoeuver and executed wrong can basically ruin a run. Also in my eye it did seem a tad faster too.)

Right facing MT and sliding around the curve[edit]

Time before the curve starts your right facing MT, and then at about the second jut on the curve to the wall release your MT and while while tilting your kart to the right, hug the final curve there as close as possible. Note again: the closer you can successfully hug the corner here the easier it will to achieve GOD.

Right facing SSMT to the finish line[edit]

After the curve is complete, the road is straight and where the road meets the bridge area jump into and execute a quick SSMT. The farther you drift from the right to complete your SSMT will hurt you from time at about a .1 or something around there, so completing and gliding as close as possible parallel to the snow off right is optimal.

Hopefully doing this in perfect fasion all three laps (for the exception of the fried start in a second or third lap as it can only be done the in the first lap) will give you a sweet WR ;) Good luck! -Eddie Taylor
