Items[edit]
Argo ship
The Argo ship is the first ship you'll obtain. You will find it in Kadmos, and you must exchange $30,000 for it. It does well over calm water, but is not suitable in stormy weather. |
Argonaut ship
The Argonaut is a much sturdier craft than the Argo. It can tolerate the rough and choppy seas that the Argo will not fare in. You will get it for free in Idmon Bay. |
Crystal
While the Mask lets you see a little of your surroundings in dark dungeons, the Crystal will shed a light that provides much better visibility. You must possess the Helm in the Silvius Mines to get it. |
Fang
Fangs are left behind by defeated vicious monsters. They can be traded in for money, or you may need a large collection of them as proof of your worthiness for other items. |
Feather
Sold in many stores across the world, using a feather will instantly return you to the town that you most recently heard the name of. |
Helm
Found deep with the Julus Cavern, the Helm endows its wearer with the ability to read the forgotten ancient writing that is scrawled on the wall of various dungeons and monuments throughout the land. |
Herb
Any town healer can sell bundles of five herbs to you in exchange for $2000. These herbs can be used to heal any of your party members, but only outside of battle. Regrettably, you may not use them when fighting. |
Key of Earth
The Key of Earth is one of the three keys needed to open the gates which bar your access from your final objective. You will find this key in Sehod's Catacombs. |
Key of Heaven
The Key of Heaven is another of the three keys needed to open the gates which bar your access from your final objective. You will find this key in Rohod's Catacombs. |
Key of Hell
The Key of Hell is the third of three keys needed to open the gates which bar your access from your final objective. You will find this key in Ohod's Catacombs. |
Mantle
The Mantle contains a mysterious power that causes weaker enemies to cower in fear. Possession on the mantle means never having to waste time on pointless fights. It's found in the Silvius Mines. |
Mask
Vision is severely limited in the darkness of underground dungeons and monuments. However, the Mask gives off a glow which makes it easier for one to see a bit of your surroundings. At a cost of $15,000 in Oruk, however, it's not cheap. |
Resurrection Potion
This is one of the more regrettably named items in the game. Unfortunately, the resurrection potion does not resurrect a character from death. Rather, it restores a presently living character to full health. A useful item, but do not be deceived by its name. |
Sacred Nut
The Sacred Nut is the weakest of all magical items. Often collected from defeated Liphants, they can be thrown at an enemy to do a bit of damage. Note that all characters will receive experience through the use of this attack. |
Scroll of Iason
The Scroll of Iason contains the necessary instructions on how to complete your quest. Each of the three sleeping warriors possesses a third of the scroll, and you will only be able to read it when all three pieces are collected. |
Staff of Earthquakes
This magical item is more powerful than the Sacred Nut. It causes a lot of damage to your opponent, but you must purchase each one for $10,000 from Karme Village. You may only hold four of them. |
Stone of Protection
When used in battle, the Stone of Protection might prevent your opponent from casting spells on you. Then again, it might not. Once it succeeds, it will remain in effect for the rest of the battle. You may only purchase them in exchange for 50 fangs each from the village of Iphis. |
White Sphere
White Spheres are the most powerful magical item in the game, even more so than the Staff of Earthquakes. However, due to it's power, you may only possess one at a time, and you must first sacrifice 1000 fangs to obtain one from the village of Kithairon. |
Weapons[edit]
Note that the four power weapons may be upgraded into stronger weapons by a weapons smith near the northeast desert at a cost of $60,000 per weapon.
