Starting a New Game[edit]
Simple as simple can be. If it's your first time playing, the game will automatically start a new game for you. If you want to start a new game yourself, you'll need to press Up on your D-Pad + B + X on the title screen (where it displays a Pokémon). The game will then offer to delete the previous save file, keeping in mind that it can never be recovered. Once that's done, the game will direct you to pick a language, and then you can get started!
Making a Character[edit]
You'll need to pick your gender and your name. Your rival will automatically be the opposite gender to you--a male character will meet May, while a female character will battle Brendan.
